I have already posted this in Chat, and I have had one possibility, but what do you think? Is it likely?

We are ttc, I have a 4-6 week cycle, currently 5 days over the 6 weeks, I have poas got 2 bfn's, had a nose bleed last week, last one was when I was pg, have thrush, last time I had this I was pg, my boobs were really really sore last night so I massaged them and drops of liquid came out and it happeed again this afternoon(though I was trying to see if was still happening). Have any of you wise MNrs had this? And what did it turn out to be? My second bfn was first pee this mornin.

In case it is important I have had a bit of a cold all week as well.

The lovely ladies in chat suggested that the folic acid I have taken (sanatogen mum and mum to be) may be aking me have these symptoms, have you heard of this?

Called the Dr today, she can see me on Friday, still no af and will try not test before then cos it is bloody expensive do you think I should take a pee sample with me?

You could do one there if they need one surely? Saves walking around with a jar of wee in your bag!
I'm going to test again tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed! Luck be a BFP tomorrow!

Calamityboo · 10/04/2012 22:41

I did wonder about it being the first pee of the day. Crossing everything for you!

Good point, maybe you should then.

Did the test and the bloody thing didn't work, it just went blank! Aaaargh! The egg timer did it's flashing thing but then the screen just went blank with no words at all - it was a digital one. So back to the chemist and I'll try again tomorrow. Gah!

Calamityboo · 11/04/2012 08:40

Noooooooooo! That is not fair!

I almost don't want to test again tomorrow in case it doesn't work again or o get a bfn, carry on living in 'blissful' ignorance... but I will...

TheCatSofa · 12/04/2012 08:36

Negative again, sigh.

Calamityboo · 12/04/2012 10:19

Well what an absolute waste of time and effort. Just been to the doc, told her how late I am and sore boobs etc, told her I keep testing negative, gave her the pee that I had been looking after all day, she tested it, it was negative and she just said well that's it then, nowt else I can do, just Bugger off and wait Shock that was it! Just go an wait and see what happens.

Don't know if this will help or not but I had a similar cycle before having my DS. I had a neg test 4 days post period being due, despite having had pg symptoms for nearly 2 weeks before testing (sore boobs, sensitive to smells etc). I was nearly 2 weeks overdue AF before getting BFP finally! Never did work out why, just put it down to irregular cycle.
All I'm saying is, hang in there! ( got BFP on tescos test if that helps Wink)

sasslejaney84 · 13/04/2012 17:27

Hey calamity hope your doing ok! Bloody doctor was useless then?? :(

Hope you get you BFN very soon huni!! X

Calamityboo · 13/04/2012 17:57

Absolutely useless! Did nothing I had not done at home. She was not my usual doc, and it is the last time I will be seeing her!! I thought the whole point of a doctor was that they could do more to help me than I could do for myself!!

OP posts:
sasslejaney84 · 13/04/2012 18:06

Aww hun! Sorry you had a crap time, call up the surgery and request an appt with your normal one and if they offer that doc again, ask if they have another one...

Fingers are still firmly crossed for you hun, hope you get that BFP soon!!

Calamityboo · 13/04/2012 18:22

Thanks sassle. Just really thought we would know today, such a disappointment. Keep crossing those fingers though!

bugsylugs · 14/04/2012 07:03

Here's hoping you get your bfp.
Do not really know what you thought the Dr would do. Many practices do not carry preg tests as you have found out they are expensive multiply that a thousand or so for fertile women. Not all practices can or will send off to the lab. GP test strips are the same. Some labs will only let you do blood test for hcg to check an ectopic or other abnormal pregnancy is resolving etc. so I am afraid it is a watch and wait for awhile

Calamityboo · 14/04/2012 08:46

Well we know now! Game over for me :( how are you doing cat?

sasslejaney84 · 14/04/2012 11:07

Calamityboo · 14/04/2012 11:08

sasslejaney84 · 14/04/2012 12:13

Hand holding is only ever a pm away hun!! Life sucks but the people are (sometimes) brilliant!! AqGrin

sasslejaney84 · 14/04/2012 12:14

Btw have a glass of Wine tonight and relax!!

TheCatSofa · 15/04/2012 22:04

Hello, nothing exciting from me. The dr said I can either take drugs to make AF come or wait for it to come naturally. As I'll be inundated with drugs once I start ivf I'm gonna go with waiting. Have had a brilliant weekend seeing friends from foreign lands and drinking many wines :) sometimes it's the only way!

Calamityboo · 15/04/2012 22:14

Good luck with the ivf cat!
