Hello everyone, i need help with conceiving, im only 20 years old, however, i havent had a period in the last year or so, and when i do its for around a day or two and thats it, the last time i recall having one was for a few hours at the begining of september, just before i came off my pill.

i want to go to the doctors but im just a bit panicky about what they'll say and maybe they'll judge me because i want a baby at 20? me and my partner have been together 3 years, we've discussed not taking my pill anymore (to have a baby) and hes exited but worried too about any tests he might have to have. can anyone please help, periods arent painfull or anything, not really heavy or anything, i dont get pains or headaches or anything.

It all started when i was 13, i got my first period and had to go the docs because i had constant bleeding, so they put me on the pill and i was on that till i was about 17, i then had the depo jab 3 times (every 3 months) i put on about 2 stone, went upto 11st but im 5.7 so not overweight or anything, so i went back on my pill ( the yellow and white packet, you take every day of the month as i suffer from migranes) till about 6 months ago when i stopped taking it and nothings happened.

i get a (sorry for this) bogey type discharge each month, before and after im due to come on my period which is due anywhere between 28th-5th of each month (but as i said earlier i dont get them but thats when im meant to )

can someone please help me, i think i have filled in everything i can?
Thankyou Everyone! :)

If you aren't having regular periods then you should see a doctor anyway, regardless of if you are trying to conceive. Due to your age, they may not view helping you with conception as urgent but they should definitely be investigating what is wrong with your cycle.

I second kat & would definitely suggest you go to the doctors about this, position it as a menstruation issue not a conception one.
