I've now done 5 preg tests since wed 1/02 and each one has come up +ve.
BUT I've had brownish spotting from thurs till yesterday morning and no real pregnancy symptoms except a bit more tired- not had great seeps so tiredness might be because of this.
my worry is the spotting AND the test i took last night and again this morning are MUCH fainter than ones taken on wed, thurs and fri.
Im driving myself insane.
wed, thurs were clear blue, fri was digital clear blue and the last two were tescos own (as costing me a fortune this crazy old mind of mine)
I'm thinking it is due to sensitivities, but could it be I'm loosing baby and hcgs levels are dropping?
the first 2 tests came up instantly- like before the control panel came up, the digital test took about a minute to say pregnant but ages to give me a 2-3 week prediction. last two took about 2 minutes.
can anyone out there offer any help on this, PLEEEASE, Im driving myself and DH completely insane.

Stop. Testing.

They tell you that you are pregnant, no more, no less. Faintness of lines is to do with concentration of urine, sensitivity of test, even between similar tests etc.

You are pregnant. See your gp/midwife at the recommended time and mention your brown spotting. Any increase in discharge, strange bleeding, heavy bleeding, pain etc see somebody sooner (standard advice for ALL pregnancies btw, I'm not suggesting problems with your pregnancy).

Please try to relax a little.

The time that the conception indicator takes to come up has nothing to do with how pregnant you are. I believe it is more if you are closer to the borderline of 2 different levels. You need to stop doing these tests now. Do one in a weeks time and see if you get a 3+ if you must. They really aren't designed for daily use.

as for the spotting, plenty of people do have spotting and it turns out ok. I had some from 5-6 weeks and it has been fine. Sometimes it is not a good sign and it turns into proper bleeding after a while. Since you are understandably very worried about it, you should see your doctor and ask to be referred to the EPAU at the hospital. They probably won't scan you until you are 6 weeks but hopefully if you get an appointment for an early scan that will help ease your worry in the meantime.

So long as it is just brown spotting and not red bleeding you have a very good chance still. Don't worry about lack of symptoms, it's early yet and not everyone gets loads straight away.
