Confusing pee sticks and messed up cycles

I know that I have posted a few times now being befuddled and confused but I am going to ask more dumb ass questions.

I'm ttc dc3 following a mc at 11 weeks in July 2011. My other children are 14 and 11 and we had been putting a 3rd off but decided now or never back in April 2011, it worked first time out of the traps Grin. My other two were both very quick not even thinking about it pregnancies.

After the mc I had to have an ERPC which was not completed properly and led to heavy bleeding and a severe infection. I was put on the pill by my GP to try and give me a break for a few weeks from bleeding and took it for 6 weeks through.

I am still having very irregular cycles, but I have been using the iPeriod app on my phone to try and time SWI but to no avail, we've been trying for 5 cycles since. Anyhoo, I had got a bit frustrated that nothing seemed to be sticking, we did have a chemical in this time, so I bought a pack of digi OPK's I was impatient so started peeing on them on CD5. CD7 I got a smily face, we'd amazingly timed it right the night before so had another couple of run ups.

By CD24 I got impatient again as I had been feeling tired, farting like an old man, and with sore boobs so I did an FRER, only to get a BFN. Later on I peed on one of the OPK's I obviously didn't get a smily face but when I pulled out the stick there was a 2nd faint line on it.

Still no sign of the red tide of doom, Anyone got any ideas what the chuff is going on I'd appreciate it!

If you are having consistently irregular cycles then you may not be ovulating regularly if at all. Also generally speaking, fertility does decline with age particularly from mid 30s.

OPKs too are of no real benefit if the menstrual cycle is irregular.

I would seek advice from a gynae sooner rather than later in view of both your gynae history and problems post ERPC.

Now that doesn't sound particularly positive, I'll have to see what happens and go back to the GP again I suppose. They haven't been particularly supportive or helpful when I've been to them since (lost the swabs from my infection) and stuff.

Thanks for your reply Attila, I've been thinking and googling today, both of which can be problematic at times and it looks like I may have PID from the ERPC which is pretty shitty so I won't put it off any more. Off to try and get the gp to listen tomorrowSad
