Could I be pregnant?

Okay, AF was due on Wednesday just gone, but in the week prior I had sore boobs, waking up in the night to pee, and fatigue. So Monday afternoon at work I had a tiny bleed, and I wondered if it might be implantation bleeding. My AF is always on time and I always have cramps and backache the night before but I'd had no AF symptoms on Sunday or Monday.

So, Tuesday AF shows up for real, but medium-heavy and there was some clear mucusy substance (sorry for TMI) and AF only lasted one day. Normally lasts two or three days with cramps. No cramps at all this time. So on Wednesday I bought a HPT just for the hell of it. I POAS that evening and got a BFN.

Now, I'm not kidding myself, I know it's really unlikely, but is it possible I'm actually pregnant? I am really weepy, tired, and I have been waking up to pee which I never never do. Seriously, I never wake up before my alarm, ever.

So, should I POAS tomorrow morning or do you think I have actually just finally ovulated, which made my AF all different? I wondered if maybe I hadn't ovulated for real since going off the BCP in July. Sorry for the long post!

I've had this recently. Very similar in fact - look back at 'Oh help, I'm going quietly mad' or my recent posts!
I think you should poas and do it first thing in the morning. Then it'll be most concentrated and at this point is likely to be definite.
There's three possibilities really: a) you are pregnant, the bleeding was implantation so you tested too soon and the hcg wouldn't be concentrated enough yet. B) You had a chemical pregnancy hence the late period c) it was an anovulatory cycle. The latter are common, most women.have one or two a year. Trouble is when ttc a change gets you all excited. The only way to know for sure is to test.
If it is negative, your symptoms could suggest a uti so it'd be sensible to go to your GP to get checked out. Hope it's a) and that all that helps and makes sense.

wow faith was so comprehensive I have nothing to add :)

It's only when we are paying so much attention that we notice this stuff.

Anyway good luck OP :)

Grin I got the style from someone else, I confess.
