Hm. Am getting quite a few crampy pains, but no AF and she was due yesterday. Have ordered some tests for weds.

In case I am, does anyone think that jogging can harm it?

GoldenDaffodil · 07/11/2011 16:22

Hi painterly thank you very much for your reply. I passed my driving test so I'm feeling much calmer now - I think it was freaking me out more than the bfb!

I always though the implantation bleeding occurred before AF was due but perhaps that isn't the case. I'll test again in the morning and take it from there. After waiting so long for a bfb I'm scared to get my hopes up but the signs look good.

Enough about me fx for you and all the lovely ladies on the bus.

painterly · 07/11/2011 19:57

Congratulations on passing your test, that's great news... hopefully you'll be passing the other test again shortly Wink

painterly · 07/11/2011 21:33

Crikey I'm really feeling ill tonight. Hmm again.

Imustbecrazy26 · 07/11/2011 21:40

Hi

Nice to see some familiar names, sorry to hear about your mc floydie, let's hope nature is kind to you this time. Looks like it could be a bfp golden I think it is common to get a false negative but less likely with a false positive, another test is probably the way forward. I wouldn't beat yourself up about the painkillers and drink, so many women carry on as normal not even realising they are pg and have been drinking, eating the wrong things etc. Also my friend bled quite a bit at the beginning of her pregnancy but turned out to be nothing to worry about.

GoldenDaffodil · 08/11/2011 11:32

Hi Everyone

floydie I'm very sorry to hear about your mc.

painterly how are you feeling today? I really hope AF has stayed away. I'm not sure if it's safe to job whilst pg. When my friend was pg she temporarily gave up running and took up power walking instead but I''m not sure if this was on doctor's advice or not.

Imust what's your status today? Your symptoms sound similar to mine in the run up to the bfp. I had brown/pinkish spotting and cramping for 3 days.

Mersea thank you so much for your reassuring words. I'm still cross that the one month I stopped playing by the rules in 14 months turned out to be the month it happened!

I've now done 5 tests in total including a clear blue digital and all were bfp's!! I'm still afraid to believe it though after waiting so long and after my chemical pg last cycle. I've booked a GP appt but the GP I've been seeing about my fertility problems didin't have an appt avaialble until next wednesday so I've got a long wait. I couldn't sleep last night with all the nervous excitment.

GoldenDaffodil · 08/11/2011 11:32

haha jog!

Imustbecrazy26 · 08/11/2011 12:31

Well no af still today and no more spotting just my boobs feel odd but it could just be my imagination!
The only thing is which I forgot to mention I use those internet cheapies and thought I had a bfp about 27 or 28 of oct dp could see it and everything did some more tests over next few days after that and got bfn golden so I'm tempted to go buy a text but think it would be a bfn and surely I would of got a bfp if I were pregnant by now??it so frustrating mind you this isn't my longest cycle

OP posts:
painterly · 08/11/2011 15:56

evening all. Definitely not safe to job whilst pregnant Wink. Still no AF today, but did manage to go into work without my work pass and home keys, so definitely think something is afoot as I've never done that before!

CONGRATULATIONS Golden! That's great Smile. Think it's about time you started believing it!

Crazy, sorry that you are still in limbo.. I've had that and it's a nightmare where you aren't sure either way... fx for you.

painterly · 08/11/2011 16:49

I am one eighty by the way just in case anyone wonders where she appeared and disappeared to!

GoldenDaffodil · 08/11/2011 21:01

Hi Imust so sorry to hear you're still in limbo, I had exactly the same situation with my last cycle so I know how miserable it is. All you can do is wait it out really. If AF still hasn't arrived by the end if the week then it would be worth investing in a more reliable test to get a definitive answer. Try to fill up your diary with things if you can that way you'll have less time to think about it. That's how I coped anyway.

Hi painterly sorry to hear you left your vitals at home, what a nightmare! When are you planning to POAS?

After 14 moths of symptom spotting it looks like I'm finally pg and I'm hardly experiencing anything except that I'm weeing loads!

painterly · 09/11/2011 10:24

POAS tonight around 9am when asda delivery arrives!

lucky you Golden... enjoy it!

Imustbecrazy26 · 09/11/2011 12:20

Good luck painterly!

I'm still in limbo may get mysel another test and hope for the best

GoldenDaffodil · 09/11/2011 12:29

FX for painterly and imust I'm thinking of you both.

painterly · 09/11/2011 20:11

BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imustbecrazy26 · 09/11/2011 21:21

Congratulations!!!!!

I on the other hand got a BFN Sad

OP posts:
painterly · 09/11/2011 21:32

Sad oh no Crazy. hope you've got a big glass of Wine.

It's really odd, but I was having 29-36 day cycles, and I took up weekly running a month and a half ago and since then it both of my cycles have been regular 28-ers. How odd is that? Co-incidence?

Fx for you next month and I'm going to keep popping back to see how everyone is getting on. I'm still in shock.

Imustbecrazy26 · 09/11/2011 21:40

No i havent but dont really drink that much am so fed up!!! Dp is getting worried it his fault we only been trying for 6 months but it seems like for ever!!!

Maybe i should take up jogging maybe it will help me as i seem to have one noremal cycle of about 28days and then one like this that goes on for more then 40 begining to think maybe im only ovulating once every other month!!!!

OP posts:
GoldenDaffodil · 09/11/2011 22:05

Congratulations painterly I'm so pleased for you. I'm still trying to recover from the shock myself.

Imust I know how hard it is to get a bfn after getting your hopes up. There's not much I an say to make it easier but try to keep yourself busy and don't give up. DH and I had been waiting 14 months (ttc1) for the bfp and it happened when I was least expecting it. You will get there it's just that its takes longer for some people, even if they don't have any fertility problems.

Mersea · 09/11/2011 22:29

Great news painterly I am so pleased for you. :o
Imust it is hard when you keep trying each month and getting BFN, I have been trying for about 6 months too. I have now been to see the doctor as I have to get registered in the system before it gets too late, I am 40 next march and after that I will not be entitled to IVF. It seems mad to me as I certainly don't feel too old to have a baby! I only have one ovary but fell once before and it was the first month we tried but that ended in a mc, has not been so easy this time but I guess that was 4 years ago. This month we have made an extra effort, every other day (poor dp) and I am sure I must rattle with the amount of vitamins and folic acid I have had over the past six months :)

painterly · 10/11/2011 08:03

Thanks for all the lovely words. This is my 5th month so it's quite a relief. After the first couple of months we reduced the swi to cd 13 and 15 so when I had the long cycles, obviously it was the wrong timing. Anyway, finally worked so now I can start worrying about whether it will stay put instead!

I really recommend jogging, not necessarily for fertility, but it had a huge impact on my mindset (though sadly not my waistline). A friend and I only did 30 mins, one night a week and even that made a difference. Am still in two minds about continuing as I think excercise you are doing when you get pregnant, you can carry on with, it's just new things you shouldn't start.

GoldenDaffodil · 10/11/2011 12:56

painterly perhaps I'll see you on one of the pregnancy boards? I wish you all very best anway.

Imust and Mersea I really hope the Augsut minibus will be your last. There are times when I was convinced I would never see a bfb so I hope my story proves there is light at the end of the tunnel. Take care of yourselves. xx

FloydieDoydie · 14/11/2011 18:23

Well we are all very quiet on this minibus aren't we!

Its possible by my incredibly random best guess that AF could be due on Friday. Last cycle, I got my BFP the day before I was due, but had found a discarded test from four days before that had a very faint second line (which made me re-test and get the BFP).

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but Im seriously wondering if I might be PG again. Last time I was ridiculously emotional around the time I got my BFP - for example, I was wailing like someone bereaved just because DP didn't kiss me goodbye when he left for work! Blush

I've also had to pee loads and my headaches have got worse. No implantation bleed though, and I had that last time.

I'm too scared to test yet though. I hope I wont be too disappointed if AF arrives; I can at least readjust my iPeriod stats and by having my first AF since my miscarriage I will know exact dates etc.

Oh well, fingers crossed!

When are you all due? (did I miss the stats list?) Smile

Imustbecrazy26 · 15/11/2011 12:37

Hi floydie think its just me and you! I'm on cd 48 and still no sign Of af for me amnd no bfp either!

Fx for you!
