I don't really understand the terminology, have you had a colposcopy for the first abnormal result? If not, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll need treatment. Apparently it's quite common to have abnormal smears, especially if it's less than 10 years since you first had sex, well that's what my GP told me anyway.
I can't advise, but had a similar-ish situation 2 years ago. I had been having irregular but constant bleeding for over nearly 2 years and had a smear as just another test although I was only 23. It came back abnormal so had a colposcopy which showed everything seemed ok. During this time I'd stopped using hormonal contraception in order to try and get my body back to normal, and DP and I were generally being irresponsible!
Then about a month later I had a mc although I hadn't realised I was pg, and don't know how far along I was. 2 weeks after that I had a hysteroscopy which had already been arranged. After that I was told they still didn't know what was wrong but I'd probably struggle to conceive. I was supposed to go back for more tests and to start some treatment to see if they could fix my bleeding but ended up having a very surprising BFP after 3 months. I was 8 weeks pg then.
DD is now 12 months and we're kind of trying to conceive, but it's difficult with my weird bleeding and can't work out my cycle. I have a smear booked for Monday and I'm a bit worried about it. It'll be the first one since I turned 25 and so the first one that I know the result will be the result (ie before I've been told that hearing nothing means that either it's clear or they threw it away because I was too young to be on the smear programme).
Do you know when there will be a decision about any treatment required or when you have further tests? I think you need to speak to a doctor about it. I was very lucky that everything was ok and I ended up with a healthy child but the idea that I could have had treatment thinking I wouldn't conceive and could've harmed an unborn baby is a bit scary. I assume that they would advise you not to ttc while having treatment, or waiting for treatment.
Definitely get some professional advice, and good luck with it all.
