Has anyone ever had a false positive clearblue pregnancy test?

I had a positive test last week. I went for a private scan today to get an idea of dates (as dont have periods) and neither an abdonminal scan nor a vaginal scan nor two of their pregnancy tests could confirm the pregnancy. Anyone got any idea what might be going on?

Hi I done 4 pregnancy tests the first was a postivethe they followed on to 3 more postives I went to hospital and nurse done a pregnancy test and came back negative I got home ans I done another clear blue line and it's showing postive as you can imagine I'm so confused can anybody help me thanks

No thay didn't I'm gonna ring Dr's when that are open to see if I can get a blood test done xx

@Mummy2corsette what was the outcome for you? I’ve just had 5 positive clear blue including digital but I went to the hospital yesterday and their test came back negative. So confused how this could happen!

Hi hun I am. 18DPO
and I am 4 days late on my period also. It was just confusing me because
DAY BEFORE the positive one I had a negative. (I done it late on the evening) 22nd - that was my period due date
THEN I HAD THE POSITIVE EARLY IN THE MORNING. Which was on the 23rd.
Now 26th the digital is negative? But I took it around 10:30ish and it wasn’t my first wee of the morning x

I done a clear blue on Sunday 23rd May come back positive 1-2 weeks. And I’ve took one today and It’s come back completely negative not pregnant. Has anyone ever had this? Is my HCG levels low?

Within 4 days it’s changed.
I’ve had no bleeding
No bad belly cramps nothing like that feel very pregnant still.

The negative I had I took with my like 4th wee, and I drank before hand with the positive it was my first wee before any drinks?
I’m going out of my mind 😭😭😭😭

Little update.
Still haven’t come on my period I’m exactly 8 days past my period due date.
And I am 22DPO!

I done a clear blue digital on Sunday 23rd for a pregnant 1-2 weeks.
4 days later took another and it was not pregnant.

Still no sign of period at all.
I’ve got every pregnancy symptoms
Sore boobs
Boobs got bigger and darker
Backache
VERY VERY MOODY as my other half says😂
And constantly hungry
Urine is very very yellow! (Sorry) haha.

Doctor adviced me to do a test in a weeks time so gotta do one Thursday as that’s when she mentioned it.

Can someone please get back to me I’m worrying so much sad xx

And someone said if I was having a chemical pregnancy I’d be bleeding? And In some sort of pain?? Xx

And I am also extremely tired. Eyes are so heavy! I haven’t napped so much in my life 😂

Can anybody tell me what they think. I’m due on my period today, I’ve done two first response early testing and both positive. Then did a clear blue non digital and it was negative. Then assumed maybe the first responses are faulty because thought clear blue was more reliable.
I’ve had really sore boobs, Felt nauseous, been sooo tired.
Went out shopping this afternoon and thought I’d buy some cheapo tests just to double check and tested again this afternoon when I got in and got another faint positive. Decided to do a digital clear blue and it’s positive 1-2 weeks, thought I’d just do another one from the same sample as I was so over the moon and it’s ‘not pregnant’
What does anybody think?

Sounds like you are pregnant but levels are still low as so early so only being picked up by some tests. Try again in 48hours but I think it’s rare to get false positives let alone that many

Hello, I am very new here and have come to know the internet world is very confusing in terms of trying to get simple answers. Everyone has either completely different experiences or similar or exactly the same. I basically think I'm pregnant but don't know if clear blue just wants money or is truthful because everyone says different things. Clearblue themselves say false positives are extremely rare, rarer than false negatives. That being said about 2 minutes ago I peed and now need to pee again. My nipples are sore, my boobs are sore, my boobs are bigger, I've put on weight, I feel sick, I've had fatigue like never before, I've had insomnia and then slept longer in the day, I've cried so much in the past 2 days and I feel like I'm going crazy. I just want that simple answer and I know I'm not going to get it until I test in about 2 weeks again but I did 2 clear blue rapid detection tests(the one where it shows a plus in the window if you're pregnant) I got two very thin dark blue lines(same colour as the horizontal line) but it's very thin. And it's not completely centered. Reading upon evap lines is honestly confusing because they say clear blue are known for leaving evap lines but I thought evap lines were colourless or grey or white?? Am I just having a crisis and emotional breakdown or am I pregnant?? Oh and also I missed a lot of Cerazette pills when I was with my boyfriend(he is aware of it and guess you could say we got very caught up in a lot of romantic moments). My mum and sister both think I'm pregnant but I don't wanna get my hopes up. That being said I've never experienced an evap line before, or a faint positive before and I've also seen negatives stay negatives after an hour and I'm pretty sure I looked at my second test in the right amount of time. The first test however I looked at it for 2 minutes and got impatient and didn't time it like an idiot and put it in the box. That one was read out after an hour but I am convinced my second test I read just under 5 minutes. But I did a clear blue digital test yesterday and it said not pregnant. I have to say I drank soo many fluids and it wasn't my first morning pee, it was like 7pm at night. Whereas my other two tests before the digital was my first morning pee without drinking fluids. And those are very blue lines just very thin. So what's happened? Am I going mental cuz I'm having cramps and I thought my period was coming on because the test said I wasn't pregnant. But then read it could be a sign of pregnancy, and I still feel sick nearly threw up earlier. Gotta say if I test in 2 weeks and it comes back negative, I'll be getting a blood test done and if that comes back negative, I'm going to take down clearblue cuz it's not nice. And now I'm crying again.

I took a clearblue test and got a faint positive but I'm getting negatives on everyother test I take, everyone talks about how it could be an evaporation line but those aren't supposed to have a color and I could see it while the test was still wet. Even after it dried the blue got darker so I really don't know what to think at this point
