Ovulation tests. What to get?

I've been looking at OV tests but no idea what to get. Are the cheap just strip type ones any good? I've used the pregnancy test ones before which seemed to be ok.

Or would it be better to get one of those Clearblue ones?

I used the cheap Internet ones but they never picked anything up for me. I have just ordered the CB digital ones as everyone says they are really good.

I find the tesco's own ones are good and not too expensive. I have had positives with cheap internet ones but the tesco ones are more sensitive i think

Since trying the cb digital ones I would never go back to 'line' ones. They are so much easier to interpret, you can use fmu which you can't with cheapies and every month I've used them I've got a clear positive, with the cheapies it was hit and miss. I bought a 30 pack from Amazon and by only using about 5 per month (I start on day 10 and usually get a around day 14) so they've lasted for months, so it hasn't worked out that much more expensive than cheap ones.

Misstina, what time of the day do you test with them??

Fmu with the digitals, with line ones I either did mid morning or mid afternoon, but at the same time every day. I'm not sure why fmu is ok for the digis but it seems to work - I only get 1 per month and it's at the right time in my cycle.

Thanks for that. Most opks say not to use gnu, but I thought I had read previously that fmu was ok with the digitals.
