Soya Isoflavones?

I was thinking of buying 'Clomid' online but came across another site suggesting the use of 'Soya Isoflavones' which is readily available at most health food shops.

The recommended dose according to the link uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100106072032AAWzs6m 80mg per day is needed. I can only find 750mg capsules so am wondering what the options are?

Has anyone tried this method? I am reluctant to buy a prescription only drug online unless I really don't have any other options.

Also, am I correct in thinking that Reflexology is recommended in TTC?

Not sure what your ttc history is. Have you been told you have problems ovulating? Have you had any fertility tests?

I would NEVER buy prescription only drugs online as you do not know what you are getting. Believe me I understand the frustration. We are desperately trying to get our consultant to prescribe clomid as it worked with conceiving ds. However after further fertility tests I have adhesions in my Fallopian tubes from an emergency c-section and a miscarriage. So until they have attemoted unblocking them then they won't prescribe the clomid.

If you are interested in soya isoflavones then have a look on some of the fertility friends type websites as people there have more experience. I wouldn't place much weight on yahoo answers for advice.

I have added more wheatgerm, linseed, flaxseed and EFA to my diet and my ovulation levels have increased from my bloods. It was my dr who suggested I try this.

Hope this helps. If I find the link then I'll add the fertility website that I know people have tried soya isoflavones on.

Hello. Obviously not sure of your ttc history but please don't buy clomid online without a prescription. The dose needs to be the lowest possible for you and there are risks and side effects with any medications. That's assuming that the dose of clomiphene in the tablet is actually what it says on the box! If you have cysts or an underlying condition causing your infertility that hasnt been diagnosed then clomid can make matters worse and potentially damage you long term. Have you been told your oestrogen levels are too low?
