yay stitch fingers X for nice sticky bean!

Hope you had busy weekends dachs and tina, sorry to hear you're sad tina, my due date was 7 Nov and I am so hoping to be pg by then......

I've had on/off spotting since 9/10 dpo but pg tests all saying BFN so must just be yet another weird AF. Temps taking a while to go down but they are nearly at coverline. Progesterone results for 7dpo was 66.9 which apparently meant I O'd so that's a step in the right direction just not sure why I spot for so long and don't have a proper AF...... Anywya, will have more tests this week and take today as CD3 I think (hard to know when spotting on and off!).

Sorry for ranting post just hoping it helps anyone else in the same boat!

Baby dust to all and hoping more BFPs come along soon x

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/06/2011 18:31

battery that is a shocking experience, I'm so sorry you had to wait overnight Sad. I agree you should consider a complaint when you feel up to it. But for now, I hope you and dh are looking after each other and taking some time to rest xx

dachs your trip sounds fab Envy and I will be keeping my fx crossed that you'll be enjoying your Michelin starred meals without wine for all the right reasons Smile

stitch congrats!! A line is a line is a line Smile fx that line gets darker over the next few days

Tina I agree with yrmotb it's hard to think of it beforehand but it does get easier after the due date. It's a hard one to get through though, and who knows you might all have bfps by then

yrmotb try not to worry [futile emoticon?]. Fwiw I think you've done well holding out this long and at least you haven't blown a load of money on private scans Blush. Sorry you have to go alone though - is dh having to deal with ds? We will all be with you in spirit Smile

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/06/2011 18:32

Oh and knitter and loup I'm sorry your bodies are messing you around. I hope af stays away and you get a bfp soon

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/06/2011 18:33

Sorry digi not loup Blush [crap emoticon].

MummyAbroad · 20/06/2011 18:53

let us know how many sticks you pee on until you start believing it (took me hundreds several) Grin

keeps fingers crossed for digi and knitter - birthday BFP would be lovely!

YRMOTB poor you, its no fun going through that alone. We will all be holding your hand virtually though, best of luck. xxx

freezing I am fine thanks hon, have signed myself up for the driving theory test tommorrow - ShockSmile spent the weekend learning lots of random car vocabulary in spanish to get me through... Its nice to have something else to focus on, and being able to drive will be fab, not least because its raining season here now, so going out in the afternoons is very tricky!

sorry for limited catch up, bigs hugs for everyone! xxx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/06/2011 18:59

Oooh good luck with the theory test mummya . How are things going with you? xxx

MissTinaTeaspoon · 20/06/2011 19:33

Sad for loup, what a pain!

Good luck tomorrow mummya! Learning to drive is a really great thing to put your energies into, it'll really make things easier with 2 children! My friend did her practical test at about 34 weeks pregnant with twins so it can be done Grin

stitchinline · 21/06/2011 07:07

Aargh just typed message and lost it Angry

Mind you not much can dampen my mood as although I restrained myself to 2 tests it is a slightly stronger line on the FR and the cb digi says 1-2 weeks - eek - might actually have to believe it could be a BFP.
Will have to call consultant this morning and I really don't want to as will totally feel like I'm jinxing it but need to get the treatments right from word go. More being a human pincushion but nothing new there!
Good luck for your test mummya I'm going to finally go exchange my license fir a uk one next week so I can drive here bit thankfully no test needed.
tina have everything crossed that smep works for you too Wink totally understand your sadness about the dd but hopefully you wont need to worry
loup hope the tests cam sort out what is going on - sounds very confusing and ttc is stressful enough
dach hope you have a lovely break and eat yourself silly mmmm pasta.
Sorry for not being more chatty but is quite early for me - woke up needing to pee and couldn't waste all that lovely FMU Grin waves to everyone else

Hello everyone, just a quick post from me to say SadSadAngry to battery, woo hoo! to stitch and welcome (back) to dachs
In my news, have been SMEGing (a bit) for the last 10 days, & feel quite hopeful for this cycle (last one before the dd Sad)
Got my test results back, am Factor V Leiden & borderline antithrombin deficiency..... Not seeing gynae till 30th, but the ever-faithful Dr Google & recurrent buns thread here seems to suggest it will be clexane from BFP for me. Joy. With luck I'll have the BFP on/just after the day of the appt. Haven't joined the recurrent buns thread as feel a bit of a fraud/lightweight amongst all those fantastically strong/brave ladies Sad
I can't tolerate aspirin so not taking that.
Will update when I've seen the gynae - hoping this will also explain my peculiar neurological stuff that's been foxing the medical profession for some time Hmm

(is there an emoticon for ooh, get her? Grin)
xx

Congratulations stitch!!!GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

I fell off the smep wagon last night...dh was on the phone till late and by the time he came upstairs I was too tiredSad. When I think it through though I got my Smile on Saturday, so if I ov'd 24 hours ish after that and eggs perish after 12-24 hours surely last night would have been pointless anyway?

stitchinline · 21/06/2011 09:27

Thanks tina and zam

We missed the last couple of nights as dh was too tired and then I couldn't be bothered so I still think you are def in with a chance Grin

KnitterNotTwitter · 21/06/2011 09:53

stitch great news on today's tests :)

mummya good luck on the driving theory

Another day, an other test and another BFN from me... sigh.... not sure what is going on.... before our last pregnancy my cycles were 30 days... wtf after the TOP was 36 days... currently I'm on day 31....any opinions?

stitchinline · 21/06/2011 10:08

knitter my cycles have been all over the place this year - ranging from 33 - 39 days I think that the pregnancy hormones just mess things up completely. In fact even though I think af was due today it may not be til later hence my faint tests Confused not sure that really helps you but I guess it also depends when you ov'd and Joe long your lp normally is

Ladybee · 21/06/2011 10:34

Hi all -

battery I was thinking of you today, I hope that the days are going past without too much discomfort and that the crying/pain is easing.

knitter I hope very much that the BFN was just too early testing, a temp rise is a nice hint at any rate, so fingers crossed in a few days you get a better result.

Digi you too, god how gutting the birthdays and milestones are, I soooo hope you get a BFP for it, instead an AF. SURELY someone deserves the happy story. For Once.

stich gosh, I hope your line stays there and that it's not a CP - how exciting, I love a BFP no matter how big it is. What treatments will you go on?

YRMOTBFP ooooooh, it goes without saying that I really hope that everything goes well on Wednesday. It's hard going to scans by yourself - if you don't recognise the staff and can bear to, do tell them your history so they can give you a bit of a sympathetic approach.

Dachs THREE meals in michelin starred restaurants. Swoon.

MissTina ahh, that's hard and with a milestone coming up as well. There's no rule that says you must always be happy about other people's joy. Sometime our sadness will take precedence and other times we will be able to happy when others get what we want. I hope you get yours next cycle, but if it doesn't happen, like others I have found it easier after the milestones pass. The pressure seems to ease up a bit and the ttc stops being about the previous loss and more about a future pg, IYSWIM.

MummyA I wish my DH was as motivated as you - I've been waiting more than 4 years for him to get his license. He started having lessons about 3 months before we left UK.

Zam hey welcome to the pincushion club! Smile

Freezingmyarseoff · 21/06/2011 10:42

Stitch that's fab news Grin

Zam lovely to hear from you. Glad you have some test results and therefore a plan of action when you get your BFP

MummyA good luck today with the test. Glad it's been a distraction and it's another step forward too - yay

YRMOTB I'm sorry that you are having your scan alone Sad but we'll be with you in spirit. Is there anyone who can look after DS so that both you and your DP(?) can go together. I'm assuming that's why you go alone. Or request another time?

We've decided to stick with our scan date, rather than try to bring it forward. I didn't know anything about CVS or ammniocentisis until I did a bit of reading (Ta MummyA) but we're almost 100% sure we wouldn't want a CVS even if we get a high risk so I'm not so worried about moving the scan date, (plus DH has a big job interview the week before and I don't want to overload him) We'll just wait for the results before deciding about ammnio etc and I'm cool with that. Thank you knitter and Ladybee for your advice re CVS, it's helped me talk about it all with DH who might otherwise not think about it all. Personally, I think it's important to have a standpoint about any potential issues, even if that all changes once faced with any decisions. DH is a bit more of "it'll all be fine I don't want to even think about it" type person (which hopefully it might be) but we do have to agree either way.

Dachs I'm abit Envy of the michelin restaurant bookings. Have a wonderful time, you certainly deserve a break.

Battery thinking of you and Mr Cockeral hope you are getting lots of TLC

Loup Confused sorry your AF is being so rubbish, what do the docs say about the spotting and cycle starts

Knitter oohh Glasto.... now I am v Envy although of course I could have sorted tickets if I thought about it at the time. Who are you most looking forward to seeing? Also, I'm nosey like tina, what's this racing you are talking about - I want to know!

Digital sorry that you don't think it's your month. But if you aren't due till Friday there is still some hope no?

big waves to Izzy, Mouse, Ladybee, wiggle, BB, Jollster, Tigger, AandR and any other lurkers

MissTinaTeaspoon · 21/06/2011 10:45

knitter my cycles took 3 months to get sorted after my mc and they are slightly longer now, hopefully it's the same for you and you are just testing too early. What brand are they?

Thanks ladybee. I also didn't need a 'wow look at me I'm 30 weeks today!' fb post from a collegue with the same edd. Sad I'm getting a little tired of her complete lack of tact! Or maybe I'm being a little previous on this one but maybe if she had ever actually asked how I was I might be a bit more understanding!

stitchinline · 21/06/2011 10:48

ladybee am already injecting fragmin twice a day and baby aspirin so it's just more of the same! Although they will probably want to test levels and going by last time will need to increase the dose - eek - bigger needles. Tummy is very sore and hideously black and blue but if this sticks then it will all be worth it Smile

digitalgirl · 21/06/2011 11:26

zam pleased to hear you have a diagnosis. Do pop onto the recurrent buns thread if you have any q's you are absolutely not a fraud.

stitch hooray for cbd confirmation! Grin

Thanks for the positive thoughts ladies but I've written this cycle off already. The chances of me being pg after a bfn today at 13dpo are really very very slim now (about 8%) - and despite beating the odds at recurrent mc I don't think I'll be beating the odds at late implantation. I have a 15 day luteal phase hence af not due till Friday. I actually think that because I ovulated so late this cycle that the egg was probably immature.

Have already made plans for next cycle. Have St Mary's appt on Tuesday (where hopefully I'll be scanned), have acupuncture the following week and then in three weeks I have an appointment with Mr Shehata where I'm going to ask about Clomid. I'd be able to handle the bfn's better if I wasn't having to wait 6/7 weeks between eggs.

YouremindmeoftheBFP · 21/06/2011 13:16

knitter How long is your LP usually? How many DPO are you now? And was that first temp after you put in that you'd OV'd manually above your usual coverline?

Thanks for all the solidarity and thoughts re the scan. freezing I didn't want to change it as I was desperate to have it done ASAP. I'll be fine by myself really, it's just nicer to have somebody holding your hand. DS actually ended up coming to the 12 week scan, the follow on at EPU as well and was in the room when we were having to discuss procedures. He was 3.5 then and new somethng was going on, he's 4.5 now, so will be even more aware, and heaven forbid, I don't want him to have to see me in that state again if the worst happens. Which it won't (PMA)Smile

ladybee I will try to do that. because it's the 12 week scan it will be the antenatal screening rather than EPU, so I won't recognise anyone, I think. Are you all settled in now? Did you fix the bed? we had to take our castors off once and put little pads under the bottom side of the bed which stuck to the floor. It worked.

loup that's a pita. hope it resolves itself soon.

izz hellooo! I know you will be there virtuallySmile. I'm at 3.45. Hows things going? Do the other two know yet? are they excited? We went to look around ds's new school the other day, it's lovely!

ma Good on you re the driving thing! Even though not abroad I only passed my test a few years back, it really felt like an achievement for me! Hows things with H?

stitch hurrah! Brilliant news.

zam so good that you have some answers. Will they give you the clexane as soon as you get a aBFP or will they give you some to keep at home?

Waves to everyone else xx

YouremindmeoftheBFP · 21/06/2011 13:17

knew something

KnitterNotTwitter · 21/06/2011 14:15

ooh - lots of questions for me :-)

First the easy ones about my race. It was an orienteering event called the Jukola which takes place in Finland every year - this year it was right over by the Russian border! there are two races - mens and womens - the womens race had 1000 teams of 4 ladies and the mens had 1500 teams of 7 men - so pretty big. I ran the second leg for my team and pulled our team up by 140 places so everyone was VERY pleased with me :-)

I've no idea how long my LP is... I've always assumed 14 days... with DS we got pregnant first month we tried so I never got to analyse it much. Then the ectopic happened while I was still BFing and my periods had only just returned. Then the MC was the first cycle after the ectopic. I then had 6 months of spot on 30 day cycles before getting pg with the one we've recently terminated for Downs...

Despite having bought the thermometer ages ago I've only recently started temping as previously I would be woken up by DS and would forget. Now his sleep has got more reliable I wake up first and can grab my thermometer... I'm pretty sure iIov'd on day 17 though as I had EWCM and a bit of spotting too which suggested hormone-related excitement to me. I have no idea what my normal cover line is either.... Guess I need a bit more time temping before FF will tell me what it thinks on that...

I'm CD31 now. Here's a link to the latest chart on Fertility Friend.

The test i used today was an internet cheepy - yesterday i did internet cheepy and CB Digital... Have second CB Digital which I'm saving until next week at the earliest... Have hundereds of internet cheepies so will pee on them in the mean time :)

CollieandPup · 21/06/2011 19:41

stitch that's fantastic news!!! Yay for bfp getting stronger!!! Fx it's sticky!

battery I'm so sorry about your dreadful erpc experience. They really treated you dreadfully. How are you doing now? Your dh's comment that he misses baby made me so Sad I hope you still have each other and he's not had to go back.

tina sorry your having a hard time with you dd looming. My colleague who was due at the same time as me had her baby today. It's a sad time and I think it's ok to reserve the right to feel a little bit selfish. I really hope you get your bfp soon x

mummya glad to hear you're doing ok. Learning to drive sounds like another big brave move, good for you. Good luck with the test.

knitter I'm crap at reading charts (you need mummya on the case) but I hope your negatives are just down to early testing. My lines took ages. Your temps are high so that's a good sign though?!

dachs good luck with smeg. You just never know. 3 mitchelin meals... Whoo very swish. But if anyone deserves that right now it's you and Mr dachs.

didgi sorry you think you're out this month but your plan fir next month sounds thorough!!!

I know I missed lots. hopes mouse is ok? We're planning this northern meet up so will (me or blackkat) will pm you about it. Any other northers wanting to meet? 'cept yrmotb know about you already Smile xx

mousebacon · 21/06/2011 19:47

Good grief knitter; that's some temp hike! You're not coming down with something are you? Cannot understand how you're still getting bfn.

Good luck!

Still no egg here. Cd22 and usually have a temp rise cd20 when my body's behaving. I'm taking opks everyday but not ttcing just want it to hurry up because next cycle, oh yes, next cycle is the one

mousebacon · 21/06/2011 19:50

Ooh spooky collie! Yes pm me please Grin Grin
