Ok...I'm not sure of my cycle, both times with my lo I fell pg first cycle after pill, I recently had an ectopic first cycle after pill two. We used condoms up until my last period.

I had EWCM around day 8-9 and had unprotected sex about twice then, now on CD22 and been using OPKs since they arrived about day 11. Had -ve up until CD18 when it changed to +ve, they've been +ve ever since.

I've had a look around and can see that some people get +ve's for up to a week so I don't know if it's just normal or if I might have a BFP? Has anyone else used them thinking it was a +ve ovulation and it turned out to be a BFP? I appreciate it's probably just late ovulation but I just wondered if anyone else has any experience?!

Hi, you can use OPKs as pregnancy tests but they are not as easy to use as a pregnancy test, have a look on www.peeonastick.com for lots of information, basically with a pregnancy tests any line is a positive no matter how strong, but with OPKs it's different. When my period was late last week I didn't have any pregnancy tests in the house so used a cheapy OPK, it showed a very strong positive, I then used a clear blue digital OPK which came up with a smiley face, so I then went to the chemist and bought a pregnancy tests which also came up positive. So yes you can definitely use them as pregnancy tests but with caution. If I was you and want to know definitely then you're going to need to get a proper pregnancy test.

Good luck
