Can anyone talk me through fertility tests?

I'm a bit fragile.
I'm 41, have one DS 3½, been ttc for 2½ years, had 2 very early miscarriages.
Had some initial NHS investigations, and they say, no problems, it's just a matter of time.
But they didn't do any hormone, egg quality kind of tests, and that was over a year ago now, so that's what I am concerned about.

I need to know if there's any chance left.

Your GP will be able to do some very basic blood tests of hormones to see if you are shooting towards the menopause, ovulating, or neither.
Are you ttc with the Dad of your DS? Has he had any major health problems/ops 'down there', or is it a new partner? maybe worth getting his sperm sample done too.
I suspect that, sadly, with a child already, the budget limitations mean that there will be only limited help available on the NHS.
Hope that helps

I went to the GP, and he didn't offer tests, but I didn't know specifically what to ask for, but I have spoken to a clinic and I know now.
Nothing available on the NHS, so will be private clinic.
I have been trying to conceive with DS's dad, yes.
But that's a problem now as we are separating. Long story, but that's why I need to know if I have any time left.
I know it's not looking good, but I'm not going to rest until I know.
