Worried about PCOS and basically need someone to give me a hypothetical slap

Good afternoon

So, after spending my youth religiously taking my pill every morning I have, at 25, been in a relationship with a lovely man for enough time for him to decide that my weird habit of pulling the topping off my pizza and eating the base first isn't enough to put him off having a baby with me. However, having been prescribed Dianette (for acne) and never really questioning it, I have now decided that my GP knew something I didn't and must have thought that I have PCOS.

This has led to me becoming rather obsessive. I did suffer from acne, but it was never truly vicious and could always be covered up with make up and so far hasn't returned since I stopped taking the pill in January. I am overweight, however I've been overweight since I was a young kid and have a sneaking suspicion that this has more to do with a fondness for the biscuit barrel and a dislike of jogging. I also suffer from 'dirty neck' (though honestly, it's very pale and almost unnoticeable). I have always had a regular 28 day cycle, prior to the pill and am not a particularly hairy person although there was the incident when I thought I was growing a beard and it turned out to be a few stray eyelashes.

Should I worry? Are those three symptoms enough to prompt me to demand further tests from my GP or should I, as my friend puts it, 'relac and stay away from Google'?

Thanks duffegg and mumtoo4.

It's good to know that even if that was the case, it wouldn't be the end of the world. So many sites declare that anyone with even a hint of PCOS should resign themselves to a childless life of knitting and cats.
