Hi, please don't be tempted to buy clomid online, for two reasons, firstly you really dont know what you are buying, and secondly you need careful monitoring whilst on clomid, including regular scans.

It doesnt matter whether you have 1 child or 10 children, I believe that if you are having problems conceiving you are entitled on the NHS to have full investigations done, including bloods, sperm analysis, scans and an HSG. What you wouldn't be entitled to is any kind of treatment, so should you need Ivf for example, the Nhs wouldn't pay for this.

If I was you I'd go and see a different GP and ask to be referred to a sub fertility unit for investigative tests.

Best of luck

Hi Gizzy I agree with HelenLouisey , I've been on clomid for 5 months now (no BFP for me yet but am still hoping!) and I was very tempted to buy some online rather than going down more official routes. But I am so glad I didn't.

It's really powerful stuff and you do need really careful monitoring to make a) it's the right thing for you, b) that you are on the right dose and c) that it's working in the right way for you.

A couple of my friends developed ovarian cysts from clomid and they only found out because they were being monitored with ultrasounds every month. If they hadn't, they would have just carried on taking it and lord only knows what would have happened.

It is rubbish that your GP is not helping. After two years you should get investigations so at least you know what could / should be done.

I agree that you should go to a different GP. You could also check out your PCT's guidelines (if you haven't done that already) so you can take them along with you for back up if your GP continues to be unhelpful.

Good luck!
