Advice on diet when TTC or post miscarriage.

I'm not actually TTC yet but hope to be in a month or two when my cycle gets back to normal after MMC earlier this month.

I really need to lose about a stone but do not want to do anything that will increase the risk of another MC or make it more difficult to get pregnant once I start TTC.

Has anyone got any advice on diet? Is it safe to do a weight watchers or similar diet for a short period. Instinct says no.

I am going to start going to the Gym in the evenings when I can.

Slimming world is fantastic and is a healthy eating plan rather than a "diet".

I too am waiting ttc after a miscarriage and need to lose about two stone.

I need to lose several stone and I am doing Slimmng World. Sensible diet with no stupid extremese. Should be fine.

Sensible moderation in everything, and don't do what I have done which is comfort eat/drink to make yourself feel better :(. I have had 3 MMCs in the last 18 months and after each one have been rubbish at healthy eating. As a consequence I'm probably at least a stone heavier than I was (don't weigh!!).

Good luck, you could probably get away with doing a week detox of fruit and veg to kick start if you're not TTC at the mo.

I'm the same Jolls (wave!!!)

I don't eat super unhealthily, but I don't eat healthily enough, and it's been a comfort eating thing - I'm quite grossed out by what's happened to my body physically and am hopping down to Slimming World next week.

Slimming World allows for plentiful (in fact unlimited) fruit and veg :)

In fact, unlimited fruit veg, lean meat, pasta, rice etc.
