Rhesus sensitivity and problems conceiving

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone could give me some advice.

I am rhesus negative and was sensitised in my first pregnancy because my baby (rhesus positive) had a large haemorrhage through the placenta.

Now I'm trying to conceive number two, I can't seem to. Is my rhesus sensitivity likely to be causing problems? I had anti-d at the time but I had a massive number of antibodies.

Thanks

I was wondering the same thing. I am also rhesus negative and have been ttc number 2 for 3 years. Going to see Dr on Fri am so will ask then. I don't know what dd's blood type is but i didn't have anti d after having her only during pregnancy.

Hi Clair, thanks for replying. I'm still not pregnant, but I did see my GP about it and he didn't seem concerned about my rhesus sensitisation so maybe it isn't an issue?
