Can anyone recommend any books on conception and fertility to a newbie? We've just decided to start trying - very exciting! - so we want to know where to start - apart from the obvious, of course...!

I've just read a magazine called 'fertility road' which was good in itself. It suggested buying 'taking charge of your fertility'. There's a US and UK version but I ordered the Us version because its been updated more recently. Lots of MNs recommend it. Good luck!

Have sex three times a week and definitely do not stress yourself out with science for the first six months. If you have sex three times a week timing ovulation and checking cm is not necessary. This is even more so if you have regular periods. All the temping and ov testing is a pain in the arse so I wish I'd had a few months of carefree fun before going down that route.

Thanks for the advice. I'm in the US at the moment, so I'll definitely look out the US edition that's been recommended. Any other thouhgts welcome!
