Well here we are on volume 5!! Plenty of room for growing bumps and stashes of Thermometers and pee sticks!!

This thread WILL bring BFPs, everything crossed ladies apart from your legs!!

It was an ebay cheapie, and the line (or non-line) was there after about 5 mins. I just don't even know what to think, I have a horrible feeling it was my mind playing tricks on me.

At home I also have 3 boots test and 2 clearblue digis, so will definitely try again tomorrow. That was my last ebay cheapie!

kateepie2 · 07/02/2011 15:28

Mine was an ebay cheapie too... and I nearly had heart failure with stress the next day as I tested and BFN... or so I thought. Take it outside and look at it, might be clearer then. Mine are still faint, but definitely there now, 4 days later! I would go with the boots test tomorrow, save the digis for a few days when the HCG is strong enough. FX! Wink

kateepie2 · 07/02/2011 15:29

PS. DP believed me with the line on Friday, but was quite down on Saturday as he couldn't see anything and he thought I was seeing things!

tory79 · 07/02/2011 16:05

Actually, I also held it under my super bright SAD lamp, and it was marginally more visible then, I guess that is kind of like taking it outside.

Tomorrow is the test date that ff gave me - 14dpo.

Okay, Boots it is tomorrow then, and see what happens!!

My luteal phase seems to have been quite variable, so technically as the longest was 15 days I am not even necessarily late yet....

kateepie2 · 07/02/2011 16:09

I'm not technically late until at least tomorrow? Cue much knicker checking, eek. Keep us posted though won't you? Smile

Truffkin · 07/02/2011 18:42

Hi ladies, sorry for being MIA for a few weeks but am back with a vengeance Grin

Congrats to all BFPers in my absence (I think IWish was the one that stood out when I skim-read back but so many pages of chat I've missed!

Also, really wanted to send (((hugs))) to Mouse and hope you are looking after yourself.

I'm 6DPO so preparing to start frantic symptom spotting quite soon!

Karbea · 07/02/2011 21:24

Hello, af arrived this afternoon. So new chart for me... I've got dreadful period pain, rubbish!!!

essenceofSES · 07/02/2011 21:31

Sorry for AF karbea :( Guess we're cycle buddies now! I'm sitting on the sofa feeling sorry for myself with cramps and also (TMI again!) I keep getting bouts of diarrhoea Blush I always get this on CD1. Does anyone else or just me?!

Truffkin - hello! Fingers crossed for your 2ww!

Tory - hope that line develops for you!

Hello mouse, katee, raven and anyone else around!

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 07/02/2011 21:42

So sorry for the arrival of AF for some of you! essence I tend to get a dodgy stomach on the first day of AF, not quite diarrhoea, but not normal either Blush I am now getting incredibly frustrated, day 26 of this WTF cycle and still no sign of OV arrrgggghh Angry.

MrsP81 · 07/02/2011 21:55

Just popping in to say hello. I'm 6dpo, same as you Truffkin and have been doing very well at not obssessing so far.

Fingers crossed your line gets stronger tomorrow tory. Smile

And sorry for the ladies who have AF. Sad

Karbea · 07/02/2011 22:05

essence yep me too, in and out of the bathroom Sad
One of the hormones does it if I remember correctly...

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 07/02/2011 22:15

Bookmarking ladies. I will be back tomorrow with questions now I've cried a bit. Cd 3.

Truffkin · 07/02/2011 23:35

P.S I have created my very own stalking plan by saving links to most of your charts in a new favourites file Blush What? It makes it easier to stalk rather than checking back over the thread or waiting for people to re-post a link!

Karbea · 08/02/2011 07:44

Morning! I've still bad pain and feel sick, urgh!

Anyway, af means a new chart, woo! I've been trying to work out how to overlay last months or how to at least see last months, can someone enlighten me???

Thank you.

Hope everyone is well Smile

Truffkin · 08/02/2011 09:29

Sorry you're feeling ill Karbea and hope it hurries up so you can start feeling better!

There is a tick box option in your home page set up where you can select 'show BBT chart ocerlay' if you want it always displayed or, on your home page itself you can select charts to overlay and anchor them by CD1, OV date etc. I just had a play around to look for patterns on mine!

tory79 · 08/02/2011 12:38

Ok so I did a Boots test this morning then held it straight under my SAD lamp (they are so versatile) Once again, there wasn't a line but there wasn't NOT a line either, and although I am still worried my mind is playing tricks on my, I would say it was less NOT a line then yesterday.......and there was even a slight hint of colour to it.

Still haven't said anything to DH though, I want an actual line that I can see just by looking at it normally first!!

So cautiously optimistic.....I guess I'll just be testing daily for the next few days!

kateepie2 · 08/02/2011 12:54

Sounds promising tory... join the testing club! I've decided to leave my next testing session til thurs tho, too stressful! Temps still up (highest yet today) so not too worried.

xx

weimy · 08/02/2011 20:27

Hi

Having a :( day. No sign of ov on the opks tho some cramping (I think). I'm really worried it will happen whilst I'm away this weekend.

grr this is all such hard work.

Karbea · 08/02/2011 20:47

truffkin thank you, that worked Smile

Newgolddream · 08/02/2011 21:28

Hi everyone, checking in today as I was ill yesterday - spent the whole day being sick and then last night getting no sleep, which must have affected my temp - Im pre ov still and temp was up in the 37s rather than 36 so I discarded it. Normally I have poor sleep but never a temp like that!

Sorry to find essence and karbea AF has showed, crap.

Fingers x for you tory

Im on CD 6 and since I can ov on CD10-11 Im planning on starting swi tomorrow, still not up to it tonight plus DH has now came down with sick bug - he better be better for tomorrow Grin

So far Ive been swi every 2 days around ov cos I read this was bettter for sperm production - no luck so far - what do you all think about this every 2 days or should it be every day??

Karbea · 08/02/2011 21:53

Newgolddream really interested to see everyones view on this, OH and I have pretty much always done it everyday, I think i'd struggle to convince OH we need to do it less when i'm ov'ing.

Truffkin · 08/02/2011 21:58

Good stuff Karbea *assume you knew I meant overlay rather than ocerlay, which is what I actually typed!

GoldDream I try for every day for the 3 days leading up to OV, on the day of OV and the day after because I like to get a gold star from FF Grin but have also had cycles when we have not managed every day, neither has worked for us so far Grin

Not very helpful am I? Sorry ladies!

Newgolddream · 08/02/2011 22:21

Thanks you 2 for your views so far.Smile

Generally I ov as I said CD10 or CD11 but 1 cycle it was CD17, guess in that case I had better keep on going.

digitalgirl · 08/02/2011 22:23

newgold we went for everyday from first ewcm, softening of cervix, till day of ov this cycle. Then once more around implantation - as I heard an old wives tale about research done saying conception more likely if sperm from same partner is still hanging around during implantation. Seemed to work. Despite dh having low volume and low morphology Smile.
BUT for every successful 'everyday' anecdote, there will be a successful 'just the once' anecdote.

batteryhen · 09/02/2011 06:52

morning all:)

well I had my acupunture last night- she really is brilliant and is writing a book on acupuncture and fertility :)

Anyhow - lots of ov pain last night - think I have released a duck egg Grin

My temp is up this morning but my monitor still says peak. God only knows what is going on. I might go ask the cbfm girls.....

As my dp said my body 'does not conform to national standards and behaviour'. It tends to do what the hell it likes.

Hope everyone is ok - sorry for AF for those who have her and hello to our up duffed ladies xx
