Well here we are on volume 5!! Plenty of room for growing bumps and stashes of Thermometers and pee sticks!!

This thread WILL bring BFPs, everything crossed ladies apart from your legs!!

Here's my chart

seems fairly consistent at the mo, so fingers crossed. Took mine half an hour or so earlier than usual, didn't dare go back to sleep!

Jaggy you can probably add a little bit on, if it helps?

PS has anyone used the pregnancy monitor on FF? I have it as the trial VIP access... currently on 31% is this good or bad at 8dpo?????

katee I too am 8dpo and FF gives me 32%, I think it's very early to tell yet. Things normally start getting interesting 10dpo.

Jaggy you're not out yet! Funnily enough, everyone is different. I had to get up at 4.30am a few weeks ago (for work) and my temp was much higher and I had slept ok. I find my temps go up if I wake very early but aren't affected too much by drinking. Bizarre.

Am trying to forget about 2ww - my normal LP is 11 or 12 days, so next few days i will be NOT testing!

Here's to that MrsA I am going to try and sit on my hands until day after tomorrow... may end up caving and testing tomorrow though! Don't yet know how long my lp is, suspect it may be out from coming off the pill, FF had me ov'ing 2 days before I thought it would be, so cycle may be shorter this month, who knows!

Am still keeping an eye on you all but am trying to stay off MN at the moment due to mentalling furiously at 13dpo! My chart is up and down all over the place so am daring to hope but trying to steel myself for a fall at the same time if you know what I mean?

jaggythistle - try not to worry about your chart, I think its still looking good, your temps are all still above coverline, so thats all that matters eh?
Btw I say "greet" to, but like you Im Scottish!!

Hardertokidnap - I have very light periods to and short cycles, I didnt realise that this may connected to my womb lining, does anyone think this may be a problem then?

mrsden - I agree with you about actual temps not being that important, as long as a shift is seen to indicate pre and post ovulation. Keep hoping 7 months will seem like an age - it took me 18 months to fall for DS 2 (whos now 8) and then only 6 months to fall for DS 3 when I was years older, no rhyme or reason eh. And remember its not over till AF show, are you still spotting?

Im lucky in that I find lack of sleep and alcohol dont affect my temps , which is just as well as Im a poor sleeper, always up for the toilet during the night and rarely get at least the recomended 3 hours sleep. Im generally awake and up at 3am, go back to bed and wake up again at 5 which is when I take my temp, and its always shown a pre and post ov definate rise.

Thanks kateepie, I feel quite down seeing how much swi everyone else seems to manage, I dont think Im getting enough in, but its hard to get the energy sometimes, Im 40, 3 kids and I work full time - maybe Im past it lol!!

newgold we managed it three times in the right window... prior to ttc we were lucky if we did it once a month sometimes!

Problem this month was that FF originally said I had ov od CD 11, if I had known I wasnt going to ov until CD 15 I would have tried to keep going!

that's why i am not too surprised at not getting pg yet tbh, our swi rate and timing has been rubbish. pretty much due to circumstances outwith our control though. mostly teething/poorly DS!

have already planned for much more swi next time!

Theres always some things that get in the way, worst is if me and DH have had a row or something, Ive been there - dying to apologise so we can swi but too proud to start talking again lol.

Have you thought of using pre seed Newgold? I work ft and DD is 2 so as much as I'd like our swi to be 'making lurrve', often it's a 5 min quicky with DP and the old sperm friendly lube!

Also had some boob pain but not tender, more short stabbing pain.

Newgold remember it's the quality not the quantity of Swi that counts!

I haven't had any more spotting since yesterday lunchtime, it was a tiny amount and I wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't been inspecting the toilet tissue. But I still expect AF to turn up soon. My boobs are still sore and I have loads of ewcm which is a bit strange. My chart is looking strange too, I've had the same temp for the last 4 days. I was sure it would have dropped this morning.

mrsden, will keep my fingers crossed for you. Ive had EWCM just before my period has came before, it confused me to - I looked up some stuff about it to see if it was a bad sign or not, but Im still none the wiser.

Looked at your chart and its strange to have 4 temps exactly the same in a row, your right. Not wanting to state the obvious here but is your themometer reseting every morning or is it stuck or something? Plus does it read to 2 digital places as your temps all seem to be to 1 place, if it was 2 it may show more variation.

Don't worry, I don't mind people stating the obvious. I had already thought the same but it is giving different readings when I try at different times. It does go to 2 decimal places (and they are different) but I've been ignoring them because when I read the smallprint it said it was only accurate to 1 decimal place anyway. I suppose if I put in the second decimal pace it wouldn't look so flat. Does your thermometer say it is accurate to 2 decimal places? Do you know what make you have?

I just did a bit of googling about ewcm and apparently it is quite common to get it just before AF.

Thanks hardertokidnap it was so faint though, that had to get dh to check it wasn't an evap line. It's definitely pink so am recording it even though it could well turn into a cp. Af due this weekend so v silly of me to test so early. The question is do I keep temping till I'm at least 14dpo (I think I'm 10)?

mrsden I tend to get ewcm before i get af, but I've read others on mn get it when pg. So difficult to tell... I had a very flat chart in my last pg. When are you expecting af? Your chart looks v promising!

Tough call on the temping, it'd probably be useful to do to have a full picture on the chart, but of course at the same time every slight dip will probably stress you out wildly!

I reckon leave the thermometer in a drawer for now and try to relax (easier said than done though I know...)
