I did first time as used an ovulation kit.

Yes, twice. Well, second try the fist time and first try the second. I was using a Boots Persona for contraceptive purposes, so I knew when I ovulated exactly and was able to time it well. Not sure how well it would work now I am over 40!

DS2 6 months
DS3- gave birth 41 weeks to the day I had my coil removed (was overdue), DH was gutted, but at least he had a very good month!

Yes, twice. First cycle of the pill both times too. Don't know why I was so surprised the second time but I was.

Like you, I thought it'd probably take a while, so was shocked when it happened straight away. Even more shocked to discover twins!

yes I did with my first, but it's been 10 months of trying with 2nd and still no joy :(

Yep. On dd1. We decided to start trying. Got pregnant the first time we didn't use contraception. (I'm sure as DH was away for a few weeks after so had to be that first try!)

DD2 took 2 months and I was starting to get a bit worried.

No. 11 months and still trying!

Ok. Really stupid question and you seem a nice bunch so will ask here?!? How do you know your ovulating? I'm on the pill back to back(so don't have breaks) will I have to have a period then figure it out?!? X

me too, twice and once with an IUD in.

Twice. Once without trying and when trying.

Twice too...when we did "it" I knew I would get pregnant - my body was buzzing and we had been using the standard days method of contraceptive and this was one of the forbidden days...

Indeed, the very first time I did but went on to miscarry.

Then got preg 2 more times first try then 2 more times without even trying for good measure.

Got 4 lovely kids now! :)

Fell pregnant first try with DC1, but it took six tries for DC2.

DD1, DD2, MC1, MC2 & DD3 was born 5 weeks ago.

panicking a bit today as have felt sick and lost appetite for past week and DH asked if I could be pg again? We have been careful so unlikely but you never know...

yes, i did. or maybe you'd call it second time, as i have a predictable cycle and ovultation pain, we first had sex without contraception two days after my period so i rightly assumed no chance, then again the weekend i ovulated which is when i conceived.
i only started getting ovulation pain after coming off the pill and it's quite irritating but clearly has its uses.

DH calls himself the one shot wonder. Clearly it doesn't work all the time!
