Hey, I'm new to this so to begin with, HI HELLO and GOOD MORNING. I have a lot to say usually so i will try and keep this brief for now :) who am i kidding!!
Basically a bit about me to begin with, me and my partner have recently being talking about starting a family. We have a stable home, with the two of us, his brother (who he took on young) and also his daughter on his days off
A lot of time and deliberation has being spent on this, as we both know it is not a decision to be taken lightly, due to our past experiences.
He already has a daughter, who i love to pieces and she loves me too :) 18 months old and fabulous with it! But there is a lot of trouble surounding her (court hearings, custody battles, her using their daughter as a weapon, he was also tricked into conceiveng with her, which would scar any man) and also when i was 16 (young i know, stupid some may say) i had a son who the world lost when he was 6 days old. I would never wish that pain on anyone My partner has voiced his fears that he does not want to be a weekend dad to two children (which i have assured him will not happen, even though none of us know what the future holds) and i had fears that the same could happen to me as before, as i used to blame myself, this scares the living daylights out of me! Yet I am now at the point where i feel we can provide a loving stable home to a child/ren.
Now to the question, I have the implanon implant in my arm and we are looking at getting it removed. I was just wondering how long, from some past experiences, it has taken women to conceive after having it removed? I have being reading up on it and it says fertility returns to normal straight away but like i said, just a voice of reassurance or something from a voice of knowledge and experience.
I know these things happen when they happen but it's got to be nice to have an idea when my fertility has returned to normal! And also how you know it is back to normal, do your periods come back straight away, or still irregular?
Any feedback/answers would be greatly appreciated. I told you i don't do things by halves!
Another thing, through scanning the website i have noticed a lot of abbreviations such as TTC or DC. I have worked out TTC could possibly be trying to conceive but maybe a little note about the more common ones would be fantastic!
Much love and good luck
