Fewh - made it through another (the final) night out. So relieved as I've been worrying about it for weeks.

Testing tomorrow raven. Fingers crossed! I'll keep you posted. Thanks all for your support, either way.

RugbyWidow7 · 14/12/2010 23:52

Oh and Teds, I'm sorry you're feeling down. Tomorrow will be a better day. (big hugs)

RugbyWidow7 · 15/12/2010 16:12

...only thing is I'm not going to see my DH until Friday so can't tell him face-to-face. Argh. I'd wait until Friday night but I know he'll ask on the phone tonight as he knows when my af was due. Can't believe after all these years planning how I'd eventually tell my DH, it's going to be down the telephone line... Xmas Smile oh well. I won't grumble. [Fgrin]

Teds77 · 15/12/2010 16:35

Aww Lovely news rugby and am sure your DH will love the news however you tell him! Xmas Smile xx

KLou111 · 15/12/2010 17:19

RugbyWidow7 · 15/12/2010 17:40

littlemisslozza · 15/12/2010 17:57

Congratulations rugbywidow!

ravenlocks · 15/12/2010 18:18

Rugby, wow!!!! Congrats. Was that seriously your first month of trying you lucky thing!?

What were your symptoms/ how often did you SWI?? I need some of what you have got!

RugbyWidow7 · 15/12/2010 18:35

Thanks Littlemiss and Raven

Hi Raven, it was our first month, though I'd done a lot of reading the month before as prep. I can more-or-less tell when I'm ovulating, so we SWI everyday to every other day the week before. I also did the pillows under your hips trick (not sure whether that did it though - certainly didn't do it for my DH Smile).

I feel like I've had every symptom possible and really, I felt preggers from the second conception must have occurred - way before implantation. I felt like I'd been whacked over the head with a sledge hammer when I got up this morning - a really hungover kind of feeling. I've been exhausted in the evenings for 2 weeks. That, plus I've more recently NEEDed to eat every few hours to prevent myself feeling off / nauseous. My boobs are much bigger already, I'm bloated, went off alcohol. I'm sure I felt the implantation on Sunday night - about 12 or more dpo, so quite late. Then I had spotting in the morning. I could go on and on, but I won't bore you. Sorry for the essay. Just know I was dying for this kind of info. Ooh, and lots of sharp little pains. I've read that lots of people don't feel a thing or have any symptoms though.

Fingers tightly crossed for you Raven and Teds.

monkeyblonde · 15/12/2010 19:28

Congratulations Rugbywidow which test did you use out of interest?

MrsP81 · 15/12/2010 20:38

Congratulations rugbywidow! Excellent news. Xmas Grin

ravenlocks · 15/12/2010 21:31

Boo knitter. Am sure I will be following you to the Sept bus soon.

V helpful rugby, so chuffed for you.

Just you and me Teds, never been on a bus right at the end before. I am sure I will be left talking to myself just to prove I am completely mad.

I am doing ok. Soooo busy at work that I am barely thinking about TTC during the day so this cycle is going quickly. I am not confident atall based on when we SWI'd. I have gone through cycles where we have done everything perfectly and still ended up with a BFN so doesn't bode well. I will know on Tuesday if I have a BFN as my temps drop dramatically on 12DPO, they tend to drop a little on 11DPO too so may have a clue on Monday.

I have just been out for Christmas do at work. Managed to get away with drinking only 1 white wine spritzer all night - and a few tonic waters that looked a bit G&T like. No one raised an eyebrow or questioned.

raven 'tis a bit scary and lonely now!

I haven't been that into TTC this month either. Like you, very busy at work and also days suddenly disappeared and not really sure I SWI at the right time. Got a postive OPK early afternoon of CD11 and all the EWCM had gone by the evening of CD12 - I usually have a little bit more of a window than that. Ho hum! But again like you, I've been 'perfect' the last couple of months to no avail!

I'm not holding out much hope, have no symptoms and also am having a few typical AF twinges. Though, if I'm honest, deep down I'm still hopeful of a BFP... so hope you're here when those hopes are cruelly dashed Xmas Sad

KLou111 · 16/12/2010 14:52

I'll be here to CELEBRATE your BFP'S!!

Think positive both xxx

ravenlocks · 16/12/2010 17:52

Hey Teds

I know how you feel. I am definately still holding out a lot of hope for a BFP.

I SWI'd on CD9, 10, 12, 14 and 15 and ov'd on CD16 (grr didn't SWI on ov day!) so I know I have a good chance, just not the best possible chance.

I just began checking CM this month so not sure what is normal for me. EWCM didn't seem to be around much, and a bit intermittent!

I stuffed up the OPKs too, got a sort of positive on CD14, but not on CD15 or CD16 which didn't tie in with my temps. I know it was because I was taking the tests at odd times with lots of fluid intake etc to mess it up.

So, 7DPO, no sign of implantation and am pretty much a sypmtom-free zone!

Thanks KLou 2 BFPs would be a really good way to end the August bus which has been a lovely ride!

littlemisslozza · 16/12/2010 17:56

I'm still keeping an eye on what's going on here too, best of luck you two!

RugbyWidow7 · 16/12/2010 18:54

me too, fingers tightly crossed Xmas Smile

buttonmoon78 · 16/12/2010 19:58

Fingers crossed for those left, and sorry you're out Knitter.

But as for you Rugby... whoop whoop! Well done!

A little update for those of you who were here in the beginning - DH has been offered a job. It's a little less than his last salary but quite possibly with better prospects long term. He's going up tomorrow to hammer out a final deal with them. So I am Xmas Grin from ear to ear!
