The August Bus departs tomorrow....

This is my first bus and I think I am being brave in starting the engine.

Oh and wanted to ask - how does the bus thread work? I know the people who dont get pregnant move on to a September bus but Do the people who do get pregnant and then are due in Aug, stay on the bus together until August? Or do they move on to a due in august thread instead??

getdown yes i'm changing my name. DP asked me if i would and when i said 'of course! why wouldn't i?' he got a bit tearful as his ex refused to when they wed. He's the only boy in his family and it's quite an unusual name so i'm hoping to fall PG with a boy to carry it on.

Fel1x i was on here when i fell pg with DS and moved from the conception topics to a 'due in' on the Ante-natal part. I was on Sept but ds arrived a month early so i sent my then partner home with instructions to inform mnet of the arrival. priorities and all that

mixed feelings about another august baby.....two leo children in the same house? plus me, though i'm a Leo/Virgo cusp......poor DP is a reflective Pisces - i think we're a bit manic for him sometimes!

I just told DH that I didn't think this was going to be our month Am I mad to give up hope at 7DPO? It's just the previous times I've been pregnant I got really bad implantation pains by now, and really sore boobs as well.

I have neither Maybe it's too early, but I just have that non-pregnant feeling. Ah well. We'll see.

It's too early Getdown as you well know. After all, it ain't over til the fat lady sings.

I thought there was no chance this month. I've always had symptoms before and none this month. AF was due Sun, took test Fri am. -ve. Used up the second in the pack on Sun evening. +ve. CBD mon am - def +ve!

So don't give up hope. It may or may not be your month but don't despair until hope is gone.

thanks buttonmoon that does give me some hope Got myself into a bit of a down-in-the-dumps moment this evening thinking "humph, we timed it just right but it didn't work, why why WHY", but thanks for encouraging me! So, when did you get sore boobs, or didn't you? Did you get any symptoms before your BFP or none at all?

I usually get sore boobs about 6wks plus. I usually get a touch of nausea early on and a sort of fugginess of the brain IYKWIM? That's all!

But this time, nothing. Though now I'm sitting here at 4+4 with my top button undone on my jeans cos I can't bear the pressure!

I've said all this before, but I am a little obsessed about NOT having twins so this early bloating is doing nothing to help with that!

have you got twins in the family?

One set of identical on my mum's side but not really close enough to worry about (not that identical's hereditary anyway).

My issues are age (approaching mid 30s) and previous no of pgs (4). It's a v slim chance and I know that I'd cope if it happened but I would never, ever plan it. And I therefore have a massive slight worry that it'll happen to me!

Busy in here since I was last in, sorry I've not actually caught up, just thought I would say hi.

Told OH that I am due on next week and I either get AF or I'm pg, so I said I would be testing if no AF, he said who is paying for the tests, it's not fair if you pay for them all, so looks like we will be splitting the costs of tests, which I hadn't really thought about until I was driving home from work tonight, then he said that, very bizarre!!

Took an anti nausea tab today, not sure if the nausea was related to the headache I have or symptom spotting, but hey ho.

Hey Getdown don't give up yet. Your posts are so positive for everyone else and you should afford yourself the same vibes.

Weird for me, I think symptoms. But as it's first time I'm no expert, even though been googling like mad!
About a week ago started feeling nauseous. It comes and goes. Had cramping and rumbles and been feeling like I need the loo more, particularly when sat at work. And have this funny feeling inside.

Button like your "fugginess of the brain" have felt a bit like that too, especially today when I had lots on at work.

It's a great excuse!

raven I vaguely remember someone on the June or July bus taking it until ov but I have no idea what it was for conception-wise.

GetDown 7dpd is very early. Sending you positive vibes..

Raven evening primrose oil is supposed to increase the amount of EWCM you produce. Have a google around. I've been taking it this cycle (and guzzling vast quantities of grapefruit juice which is also supposed to help) and I've definitely noticed an improvement (as in I actually got some EWCM) although as my cycles are so inconsistent that I'm not much of a guide.

I'm on CD21 today. I think I ovulated either yesterday or Wednesday, but I am yet to get a positive OPK. However I had EWCM on tues and weds, and my temps are creeping up again. Only had -ve OPK's though. Will see if FF agrees with me this month.

Sometimes you can miss a surge with the OPKs, were you testing once a day? Hope FF gives you the thumbs up soon.

button hopefully you won't get twins, they're pretty rare. But even if you do, you'll just manage. I've got a friend with twin baby boys and a toddler. She was not happy about having twins, but she's doing just fine now.

raven as other's have said EPO is supposed to help with EWCM, but don't take it after you ov. as it's not good to take if you actually are pregnant. I think it's supposed to take a few months to have any effect, but eskarina has noticed an improvement straight away so you never know. Worth a go.

100years its good your OH recognises that tests can cost a lot! Agree it's a bit random though! what day is AF due? Mine's due on wed.

Thanks too Teds for the positive vibes. I don't feel pregnant today either I've got a cold and have been up half the night as DD has the cold too. We're both coughing and sneezing and producing foul coloured nose-snot (not pant snot unfortunately). Bleurrrgh.

waves to eskarina good that you've got EWCM, and temps are creeping up... do you want to post a link to your chart? Weird you've not had a positive OPK though..

GetDown I'm due any time after Sunday, Sunday makes the cycle 28 days, but have been known to be a lot longer in my cycles, but I think that's 13 DPO so monday would be 14DPO which is when I'm kind of planning to test. Yeah, he is good. He's currently trying to cheer me up as I still feel rough as hell.

I'm in a similar position to 100years, I'm due anytime from Saturday. That would make me CD28 but I'm usually a bit longer than that.
Want to hold out testing until Weds, the 1st, give AF a chance to get me rather than BFN.

Have been lurking for a few days and trying to distract myself as feeling a bit that AF is due in a few days and I have no symptoms whatsoever. I feel completely normal. Oh well - perhaps next month.
Sorry to lose a couple of people to the Sept bus (see you there!) but good luck to those rejoining us on the back seat and everyone else. Sending positive vibes!

Yes we could be testing buddies mslk although if I continue without symptoms, I don't think I'll bother with a test, might just wait for AF.

Goblino I feel just the same as you! No symptoms It;s annoying isn't it? I did OPKs for the first time this month and apparently timed it just right, so can't really understand why it's not happening. Ah well.

Well, fingers crossed for you Getdown - I know some people's symptoms take a while to show.

Hey girls, I'm new onboard, hope that there is a space left for me :) TTC#1 for the first time this month and definitely have some different feelings than I do normally but not sure if I'm going mad? My tummy feels like it is full of gas, boobs feel like they have lead weights. Believe that I am due on today (Mirena removed in August so not 100% sure on dates) but have done a test this am and it's BFN. Do I still have a chance as no AF yet?

well (TMI) i think my fertile spot is over.....cervix has changed back from it's fertile position/texture. I'm hoping this is a good sign in a way though as previous cycles it's been high/soft/open for much longer. Maybe this herbal stuff has kicked my system into a normal progression through the cycle.

Suddenly feel very sad, thinking that I'm going to be very if we haven't managed it this month. Hate the 2ww......

Thanks also getdown re the EPO advise, I knew there was something to do with not taking it post Ov to think about. Shame that it takes a few months to work, obviously I hope that by then I will be up the duff but of course judging by my lack of success so far, there is every chance I will be on the Sept, Oct, Nove, Dec.... buses. Doesn't bear thinking about does it?
