The August Bus departs tomorrow....

This is my first bus and I think I am being brave in starting the engine.

No I'm not charting or using the sticks, but if nothing happens this month I'm going to get some EPO and grapefruit for next month. I've had a look at the sticks on the net so may order them ready for next month if no go now.

My OH has just asked what everyone is talking about. So I am there trying to explain EWCM and OPKs etc, he asked how you know about the EWCM and then asked if I had seen any. I have actually seen some, but I'm not sure if it was egg white or watery, if it was egg white I should be ov soon, but I don't honestly know as it's only the first month trying, so I might be reading the signs wrong.

I am temping, but my temp has been really eratic this month with a few night shifts and a few disturbed nights, but I did start temping at the end of last month and I think I will be able to see when I have ovulated as it was higher than any readings I have had so far.

EWCM is just like snot lol. Had it when on the pill and not since so confused if I am actually OVing.

Well, someone has given me an extra baby!

I'm trying to conceive number 2...

AF started on Thursday 11 Nov, so I guess that puts me somewhere in the queue...

He ended up reading over my shoulder while I was posting that and said "I knew you would post that" LOL

But yeah boys indeed. But he has just bought me the most wonderful necklace for our engagement so I am pretty :) you can do what you like darling at the moment. :o

LOL sadly he's not here at the moment, but he will be most chuckled at the comment, I shall tell him when he comes back from making a phonecall.

We are still at the got a few people to tell stage, then hopefully I will start screaming it from everywhere as an official announcement.

I am on my second cycle post misscarriage. I had an ERPC on 30/9 once i had a negitive preg test i started using OPK I got a positive very early in the "cycle" 12 days after the ERPC. My positive on the OPK only lasts for a few hrs I only discovered this when i started doing two a day one around 2 and another around dinnertime. My EWCM is always heavier and noticable a day or so after the positive which is presumably when i ovulate? Who'd have though making a baby was so complicated!!!!

DH and I have both been under the weather the last few days so not much SWI, I may have missed this month's window. No sign of EWCM yet though so will carry on in hope!

hello everyone, permission to hop aboard ... we semi-accidentally started TTC #2 last night. I could have sworn I was too close to AF to have a hope in hell of conceiving, but I realise that there's a teeny-tiny chance. so here I am!

I had (or thought I had) some EWCM yesterday so was getting all excited, but seems to have dried up today. OPKs all negative.

I don't understand what my body is doing. Also I am very confused by my cervix.

One minute it feels high and soft, the next, firm and low. what is going on?

Also we had a power cut last night so my bedside clock reset and I have no idea what time I took my temp this morning. I know it was early - way too early as the temp was ridiculously low - 36.11. I think it must have been about 3am I took it!

I see tommorow is when our first testers of the group start off- here's to lots of BFP for our bus!!!

I've updated the stats to include valbona.

Have also moved myself down the list as ov has not arrived yet

ddas here here! Let's have a BFP-full bus this month.

I'm feeling much more positive this morning. Though I've just realised that next weekend is CD 14 or so and my parents are coming down to stay with us. If I'm back on a 33 day cycle after last month's 42 day extravaganza then we need to be doing some serious SWI beginning next weekend. Clearly not happening with parents sleeping next door!

Getdown please don't worry. I know it's incredibly frustrating to not know what's going on with your own body, but your's suffered quite a shock last month . It makes sense to me that it would need a bit of time to recover and get itself reorganised to try again.

We have the same problem Eskarina. My MIL arrives on Wed and is staying for 5 days, I think I should be ovulating on Thurs or Fri. DH has said he doesn't think we can do any SWI'ing with her down the hallway! So we're just going to have to fit in as much as we can before Wed and hope for the best!

I'm pleased your doctor is taking you seriously, it's so good when it feels like they are actually listening. I hope you get some answers soon.

Not to be crude, but for those with the visitors at the 'wrong time of the month', just get your OH's to 'bend you over' and get it done quickly lol!!

I know it takes the romance out of it, but lets be honest, this is the one time of the month that matters, so do what you need to do!!

I know we're all hung up on the dates of OV etc, and I know we should just take it as it comes (pardon the pun), I'm the first one to say 'just let it happen', but you'll kick yourself if you don't do anything just because you had visitors!!

With ewcm it can differ between individuals- some only have it for 1 day others 3-4. You are most fertile during it but if there are other signs u r about 2 ovulate but no ewcm I would still go for it as it may still be around your cervix and not reached further down yet where u can see it- sorry tmi lol. Hate this whole 2 ww!!! Been feeling nauseous for several days but know too early to test and trying hard not to get my hopes up as last month we weren't actively ttc but nothing to stop it either- started to feel really sick and had convinced myself that I might be pregnant but turned out it was just the antenatal vitamins was taking in preparation for properly ttc this month. Was suprised how disappointed was when it was a BFN which reaffirmed how ready I am ttc but also how awful it feels when it doesn't happen. So just need to hold out and avoid serial testing - but with 15 Internet cheapies in cupboard not sure for how long I'm going to be able to hold out lol!!!

Afternoon all,

I've worked out that its my most fertile time at the moment, but my inlaws have been here last night, so have had to SWI as quietly as possible, although am pretty sure that they knew what we were up to, but hey, we are married and they were going on about getting grandchildren so what would they expect!!!

Fingers crossed for the first testers, lets hope they get some BFP's

I had loads of EWCM last night, I'm hoping all the DTD will have some little swimmers in place ready. Slept like shit last night and spent nearly 2 hours lying awake in bed, my head then went into overdrive and thinking of all the what ifs.

If it's not this month next month will be around my birthday, we are away for 3 nights, one night at his parents, 2 nights in a hotel and a night before that with me stopping with my family, so I'm hoping we can time it right and he doesn't mind DTD at his mum and dad's.

I'm hoping that we will soon have all of the people close to us told about the engagement, I am desperate to tell the whole world now, but I am also soooo pleased to have been able to tell people personally, but I've done all my people now.

Same here BabsH with regards timing. Supposed to OV on Tuesday so lots of action going on here.

Have just bought some OPK 20miu strip tests for next month if nothing happens this months. Got 20 for £3.55 so thought that was a bargain!

I read that you should have 2 proper periods post pill before you start using them so I'll be good for next month if nothing happens this weekend!! I'm not counting my 1st 'proper' period post pill as 1, even though technically it was.
