Having much stronger PMS symptoms than usual.
Mostly cramps, and a bit of lower backache.

Had some spotting earlier this month.

Last cycle was 32 days and it's day 30 today...
Cycle before that was 34 days.

I have a cheap boots test... shall I use it?

am feeling a bit sick, think that's nerves and anticipation tho...

Maybe leave it a few more days, its so disappointing seeing a BFN which you might get as it might be a bit early yet. I would leave it until the 34 day point if you can. That's coming from someone who is going to test on Friday morning when I'm due on! Good luck though, I shall keep my fingers crossed for a BFP for you!!

kat2504 · 06/10/2010 19:44

If you can hold out a couple more days, you should, just to know that you can be more sure of the result if it is negative, and also will get a clearer result if it is positive. I wouldn't be able to wait, that is why I buy the internet cheapie strips. Asda do 3 for £1.44 if you ask at the pharmacy counter.
Good luck whatever you decide to do. fingers crossed for your bfp! Have you got the suspicious boob symptom? When I was pg, driving over speed ramps a bit too fast was a giveaway.

titferbrains · 06/10/2010 20:02

hi, thanks for posting and good wishes. Boobs are fine, tho my constant checking may change that... the tender boobs are such a giveaway aren't they! I remember screaming when DH hugged me too hard...

Will try to be good and wait. More exciting if more symptoms develop... just maddening to be doing all this waiting. I think I need a hobby other than kissing my DDs hair all the time...

OP posts:
sillybillymummy · 06/10/2010 22:37

Waiting is easier said than done! I haven't got the boobs symptom, but i do have a really sore lower back?
2 days late now - will get myself to asda! Thanks for that tip!

titferbrains · 06/10/2010 22:44

good luck sillybilly

so many pg mums and babies around me, I just want to get on with having no.2...

Although I had a mc before I had DD1 so would still have another wait of several weeks so I could check for a heartbeat.... Must remain fairly philosophical till then.

Oh ladies - i am clinging on to the June bus for dear life

What is going on?? I have done another 2 tests today, and STILL BFN.

I either want AF or a BFP soon! - i don't know what other option there is?

titferbrains · 07/10/2010 21:09

Silly billy is this yr first pg?

My cycle hasn't settled perfectly yet (see OP) so I would try to be patient if I were you, your body is obviously busy with something!

Still no signs of AF with me. No cramps today but I peed a lot this morning. Is it because of the hot chocolate I had at bedtime??? Gah, more waiting beckons...

OP posts:
sillybillymummy · 08/10/2010 17:59

titferbrains No if/when it happens it will be my 3rd. Not used to this waiting game!

I have more to report. I did another test today and it was negative.. i was up at 3am to go to heathrow.. and when i went in the toilet there.. (TMI sorry!) there was browney stuff.. only a very little bit (i thought it was AF .. but it hasn't turned into anything) - but it was like the end of your period.. you know? SO anybody on the bus got nay ideas what this means? Also, i have had really bad cramps and lower back all day.

Sorry all for being so impatient...

Hope AF doesn't turn up titfer, waiting sucks!

titferbrains · 08/10/2010 18:22

Hey there, having a grumpy evening and still no sign of AF. Don't feel pregnant now, boobs still not tender or even different. Trying to hold off as AF often starts at night.

OP posts:
sillybillymummy · 08/10/2010 20:22

Oh dear, i haven't even managed to get the kids in bed, and i feel guilty for even wanting a big glass of red wine! (which makes me think i'm not pg because i never fancied drinking the last times)

Its so annoying not knowing! I am on CD33 - and i have had AF every 28 days since may, when had coil out.. - makes me wonder if this is the first month i've even ovulated, and thats why the cycle is taking longer?

titferbrains · 10/10/2010 11:17

still no sign of AF but I don't feel pg. Very odd. No tests left as I did one the other day. Got to take dd to the doc tmw as she has a rotten cold, I might ask if they can do one there. Would that be weird?

OP posts:
titferbrains · 11/10/2010 10:12

Did another test today, negative again but felt a bit sick this am. Confused!!!!!

Am just a bit surprised my AF hasn't come yet.

OP posts:
titferbrains · 14/10/2010 12:22

Clearly no one cares about my little thread but have done another test today, still no AF but still BFN. Am sure AF will come today.

OP posts:
pushmepullyou · 14/10/2010 12:42

Hi, I've read your thread a couple of times, always a bit [da[ when noone responds isn't it Smile

How late are you now? Couldyou have ovulated a bit late do you think?

pushmepullyou · 14/10/2010 12:44

Huh? I meant Sad. Should really read what I'm writing Blush

titferbrains · 14/10/2010 12:50

Well would have expected it at least on tues, that would have been 35 days - but still no sign!

Really don't feel pg so am assuming I'm not, the test I took today was one of those "early response things". Prob did ovulate late but I wonder why?

OP posts:
buttonmoon78 · 14/10/2010 12:54

I think I ovulated late this cycle as I was on antibiotics for a sinus infection.

Have you been unwell / under the weather?

I hope you get a bfp soon or af so you can get on with trying again next month!

titferbrains · 14/10/2010 12:56

hey thanks for posting. I've always been a "fly by the seat of my pants" kinda gal so am clueless about ovulation etc. I assume vaguely the middle of cycle and try to get as much BD in as poss as chances are generally limited anyway....

nice to be able to come on here and talk about it anyway, my DH is working really hard right now so I've not told him about this.

OP posts:
buttonmoon78 · 14/10/2010 13:14

My dh is ALWAYS working really hard so again, a lot of everything goes over his head!!

I had no idea about ovulating really until new when we're ttc #4.

Have finally discovered what I've always thought was me being a bit wierd is actually perfectly normal... ECWM! Wink

buttonmoon78 · 14/10/2010 13:14

Or even EWCM Blush

littlebylittle · 14/10/2010 13:43

Please can I join in? I am 5 days before AF due with iui treatment and going slightly mad. So mad that I did clearblue tould test that only should be used four days pre AF due. Have convinced myself that in the right light there's a vertical line!! This just all proves that I need to be kept away from all testing equipment!

titferbrains · 14/10/2010 13:46

Yes I too stared at the little window for a bit too long wondering if there was a line... real desperation eh. Ah well. has spurred me on to buy my vitamins at least.

OP posts:
bally2 · 14/10/2010 14:18

Hi girls,

Im going through the same thing, Period 12 days late. I was on antibiotics a few weeks ago but i looked it up and apparently they dont delay periods??

I have tingly boobs and im bloated but no BFP!

titferbrains · 14/10/2010 14:31

Hi bally, hope that there is some activity soon for you!

Cannot believe I've wasted 3 tests on one cycle.

OP posts:
littlebylittle · 14/10/2010 18:37

Now - just so you know, first response are two for one at Boots. But I don't know this because I bought them today and tested again! Blush There was def a line on clear blue but nothing on first response. I will not test tomorrow - promise!!
