I have been feeling sick for 3 days solid now, and also have a weird achy feeling most unlike my normal period pains around my lower pelvis and back. I am also knackered.

Thing is, I'm not even due on until this time next week. If I was pg surely it would be far, far too early to have any symptoms at all. With DS I think morning sickness kicked in after I found out I was pg.

I am an idiot. A confused idiot.

Maybe implantation?...your not an idiot Smile

brettgirl2 · 19/09/2010 20:06

You aren't an idiot but I had a horrible morning - sickness like virus a few weeks back. It was WEIRD even though I knew I couldn't be pregnant I was really starting to wonder Hmm! Motion sickness, couldn't eat, aversion to foods and smells....

And the cramping could easily be implantation Smile

openerofjars · 19/09/2010 20:31

Oooooooh bugger dear.

You know those "slightly pulled a muscle" feelings you get early on? Been getting them as well, plus funny taste in mouth etc.

I did POAS last night but of course it is far, far too early to tell. Hence, idiot for wasting £2!

I can't wait another week to find out. I'd be so pleased if it was true but:

We're trying to sell the house
We were going to wait until after Christmas
I just ate loads of brie

Meep.

OP posts:
LadyGoneGaga · 19/09/2010 20:47

The house will still sell whether you are pg or not!

The baby won't possibly be here before Christmas.

French women eat brie for breakfast, lunch and dinner and their babies come out ok.

Good luck!

...I bet I've jinxed it now...

DilysPrice · 19/09/2010 21:28

Do you know what time of the month you ovulate? If you ovulate freakishly early in your cycle then it could be so, but OTOH you'd have got a positive test.

Good luck anyway, whatever the outcome on this particular month.

openerofjars · 19/09/2010 21:53

Thanks, not a clue when, but I do have v long cycles.

You know when you just convince yourself?

I did some googling research and I think it's just a case of wait and see. I bet it's a bloody virus now.

OP posts:
openerofjars · 20/09/2010 23:59

Gosh I do feel so v vomity, though. Funny metallic taste in mouth, loads of saliva.

Erk.

6 days to go, and boy am I going to feel like an arse if unpregnant.

Sore boobs not helping, either...

Hi Opener. Our dates are the same. And I am trying to convince myself that I am pregnant - feeling sick. But then have been out with friend for dinner (and wine...) (and had some of the dinner I made for DH) and am now drinking orange squash that is too strong so of course i feel sick. I am going to test on sunday morning. good luck and fairy dust.

openerofjars · 21/09/2010 14:03

Hi lemons, fingers crossed! Yeah, orange squash will do that.Grin

Let me know how you get on, or if you think you're going to crack and test early...

OP posts:
laughinglemons · 23/09/2010 01:40

Thanks opener - will do. Tears tonight so AF might well be on the way.

Wombat33 · 23/09/2010 12:53

Opener - have you poas again yet???

openerofjars · 23/09/2010 15:14

...yes, negative. But I am not due on til Sun...

Went to Poundland for cheap sticks to po. Fool.

How are you, lemons?

OP posts:
laughinglemons · 23/09/2010 16:04

Hi Opener and Wombat. I couldn't sleep last night. We saw a lovely house and went to the bank this morning. Too expensive. Ah well. Couldn't stop thinking about how lovely it could be next week if a) the house hadn't been too expensive and b) i find out i'm pregnant

Like Opener I am also due on on Sunday. I really don't feel pregnant.

I did notice that I was very senstive to smells earlier in the week. I cycled passed someone who was peeling an orange and I could really smell it but then it was hot.

openerofjars · 23/09/2010 18:57

I feel sick to my stomach if I don't eat every two hours and have low pelvic cramps with that "for some reason someone is inflating a balloon in there" feeling. That bit is exactly the same as when I was pg with DS, except I found out about him when I was 5 weeks and had no symptoms until 2 weeks later. I will be amazed if this is raging PMS rather than a baby. My boobs are visibly bigger and look different IYSWIM.

Now all I need is the BFP and I can break the news to DH. He's out tonight for his birthday (it's okay, we had his birthday tea for breakfast this morning - it was fab!) but we're supposed to be going out on Saturday to celebrate together. Maybe I should offer to drive?

OP posts:
openerofjars · 23/09/2010 19:00

Fingers crossed, lemons: I really hope this is it for you!

I had no symptoms until 7 weeks last time, and getting emotional is a well-known pg symptom. Never day never, eh?

OP posts:
openerofjars · 25/09/2010 13:36

That should have read "never say never".

-ve test this morning and some very faint bleeding, but then I did have a 3 day implantation bleed with DS, so still holding onto hope. Will just wait and test in a few days if no true AF.

How's everyone else?

OP posts:
laughinglemons · 26/09/2010 12:53

faint bleeding since yesterday. really very faint. no cramps. am not getting my hopes up. let me know how you get on opener.

openerofjars · 26/09/2010 13:54

I've done my dates wrong: I need to test again on Tuesday. FFS. But got some cramping and very, very faint bleeding, only really there when I wipe, as well as strong metallic taste and nausea if I go for more than 2 hours without food.

But I am starting to lose hope now as I've had cramps for ages now.Sad

OP posts:
NotACompleterFinis · 27/09/2010 14:39

Hey lemons and jars fingers crossed for you two.

I am now four days late. Haven't broken out in spots as I would normally do in the run up and feeling queasy last couple of days. Had coil removed a few weeks ago so it would be a flippin miracle if I was pg. But not impossible. Tests negative and keep telling myself that late period is due to upset in hormones from having coil removed.

Faint bleeding - well you could hardly call it bleeding - no tampon required or anything.

So still hoping.

Have done tests midday - will maybe wait and do a first thing in the morning one before I give up! Never tried to get pg before - it's always just happened before I've had a chance to think about it. Only three weeks into trying and I realise it's really not good for your sanity - how do people keep going for years, I take my hat off to them.

openerofjars · 27/09/2010 18:03

Hi both. Notacompleter, I had my coil out too. This is my first cycle since. The doc said to be extra careful as my cervix would be slightly more open afterwards.

Still tiny amount of brown spotting, still cramping. Going to test tomorrow am first thing but not holding out hope.

OP posts:
openerofjars · 28/09/2010 08:08

-ve, will test again Thursday if no AF. Ooh, the suspense...

How's everyone else?

OP posts:
laughinglemons · 28/09/2010 18:56

all over for me. good luck opener and nota
i've started acupuncture - they recommended warm food. only had one session.

openerofjars · 28/09/2010 21:20

Sad, lemons. Good luck for the next round, love.

No AF for me today, v nauseated and crampy. Anyone's guess, really.

I thought my boobs had gone up a size overnight until I noticed I'd put my bra on in a very slapdash manner and had twisted it over twice in the middle...
