Don't know about the side effects - if any - of B6 but it doesn't sound like a high dose. Have you tried Agnus Castus? I have a short luteal phase and conceived my ds after taking it (I have PCOS). Agnus Castus is extremely good for all sorts of cycle problems and it controls the release of the luteinizing hormone. Highly recommend reading The Nutritional Health Handbook for Women by Marilyn Glenville if you haven't seen it. She says in there a study giving women 100mg of B6 a day for hormone imbalances had no side effects. Plus there is other excellent stuff/therapies for all sorts of women's probs.

Every other month I have a short luteal phase of 10 days but my progesterone was high 75. Does any one know any other reason for short luteal other than low progesterone

Vitamin B6 has been linked to nerve damage, but usually at much higher doses (like 300-500mg/day, for 6 months or longer). So the dizzy spills could be caused by 100 mg/day, but unlikely. Usually you would have other nerve funniness first, like tingling in the wrists.

I have taken B6 for morning sickness and Carpal tunnel, which is why I've researched it. Most sources would say that 100 mg is entirely safe.

think I might have a short luteal phase ( being tested now) Is Agnus Castus something I can buy at a health food place or is by prescriptio only? Thanks for your help someone out there.......!

thanks twiglett for that. I think that might be it - but my m/c have been at 7 and 9 weeks and maybe having a short luteal phase would mean that a pregnancy wouldn't even progress that far? Lots of questions I need to ask the consultant when I see them. 18 weeks! You're nearly halfway there then! I'm beginning to think that it isn't all doom and gloom for me.....will let you know how I get on. Thanks again
hana
