It's been asked if we can post winners' details on the site and there are a lot of winners announced today, so without further ado: -
Hearty congratulations to Blueberrypancake - you've won a Kanzi Home chandelier

Fabulous felicitations to MrsWeasley and FilthyMindedVixen - you've won a place for your child on the Hamley's Board of Children

Thanks also to all of you who completed our surveys this summer and in particular, well done to lummox and sammac who've both won Kombi Karts for filling in the marketing survey.

And last but not least, congratultions also go to snowcat who's won some fab Neal's Yard goodies for completing the Soil Association survey.

If you're not one of this week's lucky winners, don't be disheartened, there are some brilliant competitions coming up, and we'll even widen the entry criteria too.

Thanks
MNHQ

Oooh I won! I never win anything. And DP has just melted our Brothermax bib by putting it in the dishwasher. Yay.

bundle · 31/07/2008 20:14

yawns

are they all away??

CatherineMumsnet · 01/08/2008 11:57

Hi mammamic and EachPeachPearMum, tbh I don't know the answer to that one. I'l check in with those that build the surveys why this is a requirement and let you know. I'd guess, though, it's so they can quickly glance at the thread to check in on how many people had filled it out.

Bundle - I'll chase the OiOi bag for you and yes, we are a bit thin on the ground over the summer hols but I can assure you MN is manned (or womaned )

Hulababy - we give comp hosts 2 weeks to send out prizes and theme park tickets usually expire after 12 months so don't worry!

Katz - I'll chase the itng hosts again for you, so sorry for the delay,

Tigermoth - same to you, will call them today and see what they have to say for themselves.

Rosco - Have chased them a couple of times but will call them also.

CatherineMumsnet · 01/08/2008 11:57

Oh and the ladybirdprints link should be working now

bundle · 01/08/2008 11:57

thanks Catherine, you've got your work cut out with all the others buggering off taking a hard-earned break

CatherineMumsnet · 01/08/2008 12:00

Congratulations to Frazzledfairyfay, Littlecheese, Giddykipper and YYL who've won Brothermax goodies and to Princesspie and Soames who've won a Nintendo DS and a copy of Mary King's Riding school and to bunnieboots and eternaloptimist who have won the game.
Details here

YYL · 01/08/2008 13:31

Really happy to hear that I have won something . My husband just cancelled his holiday with us yesterday and our 1 year old son and I are about to go to airport in 2 hours time. My heart was heavy but Mumsnet gave us the good news to cheer us up in time before we head off to the holiday with a missing husband/daddy! Thank you!

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/08/2008 20:04

How exciting, thanks

soames · 01/08/2008 20:19

Crumbs... competitions are real then!! Thanks! The only thing I've won previously was a plastic Minnie Mouse freezer bag clip (sticks in your head, that sort of thing) at a village hall raffle about 20 years ago!!!

Hulababy · 01/08/2008 20:26

Thanks MN. My theme park tickets arrived this week. Unfortunately they have to be used by November 4th, so we can't use them But I have passed them on to two regular MNetters who can make use of them. So all is good

LazyLinePainterJane · 02/08/2008 12:36

Hang on, so it IS a requirement? Well if so, what a steaming pile of dung!

It doesn't say anywhere that you have to do so, so does this mean that if you haven't done it so far you've been wasting your time filling out these surveys and making reviews up?

FrazzledFairyFay · 02/08/2008 21:28

If it's any help, I've never posted 'done' on a thread and I have just won one of the 'listing' competitions.

Hulababy · 03/08/2008 19:21

I have't posted done on most competition threads either. Have still one MN prizes though.

LackaDAISYcal · 05/08/2008 23:59

I think the comment about not posting "done" on the thread was tongue in cheek.

I'm pretty sure people post "done" as it bumps the thread for others to see is all.

have both posted and not posted and still haven't won anything yet, so go figure

tatt · 07/08/2008 17:44

we had a good "day out" in London. The weather wasn't good most of the time but fortunately we went on the London eye in between the rain so had good views .

The rainforest cafe was somewhere we'd always wanted to go and it was the first restaurant I've been to that asks about allergies at the door. They were a bit nervous when I mentioned having epipens with us but there were no reactions to the food.

The Zoo tickets turned out to be annual from about 21/04 (?) but we may be bored of the Zoo by next April anyway.

Dvds got passed on to young nephew.

There were some worrying moments when I thought none of the tickets were going to arrive before we left but it all turned up in the end, even if the cafe voucher was only the day before we left!

ImnotMamaGbutsheLovesMe · 07/08/2008 17:47

Haven't had the DS games I won ages ago yet.

(NAB)

AnnMumsnet · 07/08/2008 17:51

To clarify re surveys:

For the prizes associated with surveys you most definitely DO NOT have to type 'done' on a thread. To win you enter your email address in the survey (normally at the end) and we choose the winner from all the email addresses. Everyone who enters the survey has an equal chance of scooping the prize.

Ann - MN Market Research

onlyjoking9329 · 09/08/2008 16:58

sorry to bother you but is there any news on the Ds games myself and NAB won them months ago.
Thanks

justbeme · 10/08/2008 22:59

I "won" the DS Games too and havent recd them - AM glad Im not the only one to not have recd them as thought they may have got lost in the post - have asked MN to look into it several times , so hopefully it'll be sorted soon!! (btw we "won" them in May!!)

GeraldineMumsnet · 11/08/2008 13:30

Slight delay in announcing the winners of the Hotpoint competition owing to holidays, but some of us are back from far-flung lands (OK, Wales in my case) and so I'm pleased to announce that the winners are [drum roll] - lulamama and Rhubarb. Congratulations.
