Don't want to rain on your parade Alicadabra, but isn't it usually the case that if you want to win something specific you definitely won't, whereas the thing you're not bothered about winning is likely to have your name on it??

willemdefoeismine oh, I never win anything (except for that "Around Britain" sightseeing book for a school geography quiz when I was about 8). But it would be just my luck for that to change just as I've bought the thing I could have won!

They seem to have had a more drip, drip approach to putting up the monthly competitions recently. Yes, there are some via contributing to various threads in Products and Surveys, but also the monthly ones. Extra comps seem to be being added thro' the month so you need to keep checking to ensure you've not missed the comp (and prize) of your dreams Wink!

I was lucky enough to win the chance for my dd to be a player escort for Wigan in last Saturday's FA cup semi final against Millwall. We had the most fantastic day - it really was a money can't buy prize. Thank you Mumsnet for such a fantastic opportunity Grin

Hi, this might sound odd but I've just come home and found I've got £50 love2shop vouchers Grin. I've no idea where they've come from- is this a mumsnet win I didn't know about? Love2shop say they are from talktalk, but I have no account.

Elkieb, they may be from one of the discussions, I think there were a couple a while ago where talktalk were doing discussions into internet safety and something else, so if you commented on one of those, then you may have been picked as a winner of the voucher?? They are so high tech they virtually snatch the clothes off you as you walk past if they sense they are dirty Grin
