Cervical spinal stenosis

Hi all,
I've been diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis after having right arm and hand weakness. I'm 35 with two kids.
Has anybody had experience with this? I literally feel like de*th.

Yep, it's bloody painful. I have cervical and spinal stenosis. Just had surgery to help repair some lumbar discs. I'm on pre gabalin and co codamol for it and I add in naproxen when I need to. What have they said to you about surgery/ pain relief?

I was told I'd need surgery, but then my referral for surgery was refused because I live too far away Hmm

I'm on all of that too, also actimorph. It's been over 6 months and I feel like selling all my things and going private because I literally can't do anything and this isn't a life

I waited almost 2 years for surgery by which time I was on sticks and crawling around the house. It ruined my life. The surgery has helped though. I still have pain but not to the degree previously. You surely must qualify to have surgery in one of the spinal units near you. I also found a Teeter machine useful. It was a bit weird at first hanging at 90 degrees but OK after a while.
