Where can I go for help?

I have a range of different conditions including a congenital neurological condition, asthma, PCOS, ASD, Dyspraxia, mental health conditions and now some new issues too. I'm just not coping very well. I feel like the time has come to reach out and ask for some help, perhaps from a charity or supportive organisation more than say, the GP....but where? Does anyone have any advice/ tips?

If you are looking for practical help with your neurological condition you could ask your GP to refer you to occupational therapy - I found OT very good with sorting out practical day to day living help.

With the MH issues, assuming your GP can't refer you for talking therapy or there is a long waiting list , it may be an idea to look at local group options. Your local library should have a list of what's available locally.

Alternatively, there may be MH support for your specific neurological disability - I know support for some conditions is a bit patchy but that sort of group may have particular insight into how you are feeling. If there is a national charity for your condition they may have a register of local support.

Hope you are able to access some help.
