ELECTRIC Heat Pads

Hello

Recently been using an ELECTRIC Heat pad by Dreamland for very bad lower back pain.

It has really helped ease my pain over the Christmas period but I have just been told that they should only be used for an hour or so a day as overuse can cause inflammation, issues with blood vessels and even cancer??? (something called toasted skin syndrome).

Has anyone come across this before or is it just scaremongering?

Jo

Oh, that would be why my back has been agony today then 🤦 I got a new job but the office is freezing, so treated myself to a heat pad thinking it would also help my back pain. I've been using it all week and my pain has been getting worse and worse. FFS. I love it though, it makes so much difference!

Was that officially told, and can we have a link. Or was it from best mate's mum's Aunty Doris?
