Thoracic back pain radiating into ribs

Has anyone suffered with thoracic back pain that radiates into the ribs? I have it coming and going . I'm a 27 year old female and I'm a mother to two kids. My little girl was born 4 months ago and I have been suffering with this on and off for a month now.

Any advice or help? went to gp he said it's from posture holding the baby and to go to physio ?

Thanks

A physio is the most appropriate person to see to treat this, but I experienced a similar issue. My GP recommended 'tummy time' for me just like the baby, ie lying on my front and pushing your torso up to stretch and strengthen core muscles.
If you can do stretches that arch your back backwards to counteract being hunched forward carrying a baby it may help. There are lots of stretches on the NHS page about back pain https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/back-pain/ this worked for me but ymmv

I had this last year when my son was about 6 months, but it radiated to my arm and shoulder instead. Physio said it was likely a postural issue alongside.holding baby funny. Its greatly improved but I often get niggles now and then. Also the physio said I have terrible posture, possibly the worst she has seen. So I guess this is the cause for me at least.

I've had this pain since a high speed car crash in 2018 (not my fault). I suspect I slipped a disc at the time, and perhaps didn't rest enough to recover fully. I had an MRI (long after the event, so nothing was found), saw numerous physios, chiros, a herbalist, pain specialists, acupuncturists, the list is long. A private nerve block worked for a few months, but it was expensive. After it wore off I had another nerve block but it failed. At over £2k it was quite upsetting. But I'm desperate. I see a pain specialist privately with Nuffield Health, as the NHS have had enough of me and just put me on a repeat prescription of cocodamol, but I'm absolutely not taking it for the rest of my life. Though I may have to remortgage to continue searching for the answer...

Is there any chance you may have slipped a disc? It's not a pain that you can ignore and you'd be immobilised with the pain for quite a while after, so you'd know if you had. It's probably worthwhile finding some back stretches online either way.
