I realised how much extra planning I’m doing already for Christmas, trying sort meds earlier, buying extra over counter things, having shop and wrap much further in advance, ways to disguise pain to family who don’t see me very much and have no idea…etc etc

Share your tips tricks and achievements and let’s try get Christmas in good enough shape and resources to enjoy Grin

Having started well I’ve feeling blip now first week of November. Going try go shopping real life tomorrow before to busy. But shops start dumping stock every aisle and corner and chair is so difficult. Doing stockings so need lots little stuff that you need to see really. Hoping my back will hold out. Debating using tissue paper for stockings (old fashioned sock size stockings) save hands and back.

I wrap my presents in fabric from my stash. It goes round weird shapes better and I can secure it with a freezer clip to save effort, or use ribbon when I have the energy.
I haven't done much towards Christmas yet, but we haven't even worked out how many of us will be about (older DCs so flown/fledging the nest).
I've ordered haggis for Xmas day, so I can bung it in the slow cooker with veg first thing and rest up for the day.
It's so much easier with older/adult DCs, no pressure to make it "magical".

Managed do some Xmas shopping today. Nice decorations and few Xmas music in shops but not to Busy. Some shops were impassable in wheelchair. Should start taking pictures some well known high streets had displays at entrance in narrow shops
So I couldn’t even get in the doorway. It’s beyond that in 2021 still happens. Even wide pram would risk bashing things up.

Just shattered after but to be expected.
