Yep, you know it
I am an Ad Man's dream, will be selling a kidney soon!

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 04/12/2009 21:57

Wouldn't even get you a slide on ebay

Lizzylou · 04/12/2009 22:09

I did think I may stick the two we have on ebay tonight when I saw they were selling for triple the price I paid (and more!).
Oh God, my mate (she lives near us, her son's initial is H, her DD has same name your DD2) has just said thanks for the Yorkshire Toy company tip off, she has managed to get Chunk.
Now she wants the funhouse, slide, car, skateboard..........

Another beast unleashed!

AitchTwoToTangOh · 04/12/2009 22:16

GAD, lizzylou, i didn't even want these sodding things until you told me they were a must-have. now i'm obsessed too. i had two of them in my basket at tesco but lost my card and poof! they were gone.

Lizzylou · 05/12/2009 09:40

Aitch, I am sorry!
That is exactly what happened to me.
And, after moaning at my DH for going out too much, I spent all of last night on toy sites looking for them. Sort of lost my moral highground after he was in the doghouse for not getting in until 1.30am on a schoolnight.
Have another Mom at school gates hooked now as well.
Look on Moneysavingexpert, there is a forum dedicated to the little blighters, they seem to get all the stock updates (hence me paying over the odds for a Funhouse last night).
Just make sure you always have your bank cards nearby, and don't use Paypal, have missed out 3 times now!

Good luck and welcome to Go GO Obsessives club

Nevermind, have to be good until DH gets paid on 15th......still need to get some presents (my Nan's annual bottle of Advocaat and CM's present).

Thanks for trying

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 05/12/2009 20:52

LizzyLordsALeaping · 05/12/2009 21:21

I did Lily, nowt I could see for her. She is so lovely and fab, want to get her something really nice.

BUT! MIL just rang and has said that she wants to give DS2 the Funhouse as a present (she didn't know what else to get him) and is giving me the dosh on Wednesday! So you will prob see me in Asda on Monday!

I told her it cost £20 even though I paid over that as didn't want to rip her off. She was all excited as she'd seen them on the TV!

LizzyLordsALeaping · 05/12/2009 21:21

That sounded like I thought there was nothing nice on ASOS, there was was, just nothing right for CM (Lots I'd have happily though!)

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 05/12/2009 21:32

Lol did the same for my mil and sil and dad so have got the cash for them which dp is happily spending at the german market as we speak likely on beer double
They getting hammie and bed from santa + all the presents he had bought in Oct when he had finished

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 05/12/2009 21:46

on sale in amazon for £37.

may as well get a real one then.

they don't last very long as it is.

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 05/12/2009 21:53

Lol our pets are currently dying off and will only be replaced by plastic ones
Have you been away from mnet ,not seen you around for a bit ?
Although my hamster hunt has kept me busy

OP posts:
LizzyLordsALeaping · 05/12/2009 22:09

Expat, DH won't have pets in the house anymore, we only paid £10 per Hamster (got 2, 1 each for the boys). Have been sorely tempted to stick em on Ebay and quadruple my money though, have to say!
