twin doll's prams...not sure what to do

We have two dds, 5 and 2 years. Both absolutely love dolls, and spend ages playing together caring for the dolls etc.

dd1 really really wants a twin stroller/buggy. The one I have seen has 2 interactive dolls included.

Would it be ridiculous to buy them the same present? They would both love it, and we could make the space. I think it would be cruel to buy one as it could cause arguments as both would really want it.

Another option is to get one twin stroller, plus a twin cot, and a doll each...would that be fairer?

hi one piece,

i think your last idea - twin stroller, twin cot and doll each- sounds the nicest.

i have two girls also and they both love prams and dolls, they both wanted a double buggy so i talked the older one into getting a single buggy (silvercross one) and said because it was up to age 8 so thats the big girls version and she went for that. we are planning on keeping them in the garage though. dp was not pleased about it but what can you do?

i also agree with brockleybelle.

Thanks brockley. I wanted to get the balance between reality and getting them lovely presents. This year is the first time dd2 will be more aware of what is going on. I am very excited for her.

If dd1 had her way they would be getting "twitlets" (triplets!)

It's the twin thing that she is obsessed with devotion. She has begged me for twin sisters (no chance!)

Anyone got a link to a nice twin cot (for dolls) - preferably not as part of a set when one gets loads of other equipment? Absolute maximum budget £50.

Have done a bit of a google but no luck. Argos have a bunk bed type cot but part of a bigger set that we don't want. (might have to reconsider though)

if it is the too cute twins you were looking at, dont they are rubbish and the buggy falls to pieces when pushing it. I bought mamas and papas twin stroller from wilkinsons for dds bday and it is nice and folds quite compactly so you could get away with one each. each time dd plays with her dolls and buggy, ds3 wants to push it and war breaks out so i am going to get him one for christmas.

I think one each...if you have the space and money...although even if they have the eact same, theyll always want the other ones one

Thanks for the replies. We finally got a big box from Argos; twin cots, twin buggy, twin bouncer.

We are going shopping this week (dh and I) so will choose two identical dollies. Am going to get plain ones, i.e. not interactive.

We don't have much luck with the interactive ones. They are always breaking in our house.
