Ideas for presents for Fathers-in-law?

Help please! I always find men much harder to buy for but my father-in-law is particularly difficult to buy for. He is 75, doesnt read, doesnt use the computer, is very fussy about music he likes, and has everything he could possibly want!! Any suggestions gratefully received. He is a gardener though.

Vouchers - either gardening or HMV?

Thanks - I'm going to sound like one of these grumpy people who has a reason why everything is no good but he lives in the country and is not a shopper!!

What about a nice box/basket filled with his favourite drinks, nice biscuits, fudge etc - possiblt items that he doesnt tend to buy very often.

Have you thought about peronsonlised photo gifts lke calendars? I use www.calendarmoments.co.uk they do calendars, cards, frdige magnets keyrings etc. My parents and in-laws love a photo gift of my son - I think they appreciate it more than a really expensive gift because its so personal. x

I have the same problem with my brother in law (although he is 30 years younger)

He is getting cashmere socks and these ice cubes this year.

In the past he has had (mostly requested by him/my sis): gardening gloves, trowel, Monty Don book, Highgrove book.

Does he like roses? How about a ''name your own rose'?

Or something from here: Cox and Cox

Thanks for all the suggestions and some lovely websites. I am still pondering over some of them and wondering what to get. The worst of it is that its his birthday in January too. At least I then dont have to worry about it for the rest of the year!
