Baby annabel or Baby born. Which of the feckers is less foul?

Dd really wants a doll with a dummy.

She adores dolls, and really will play with the horrid plastic thing for ages.

Is it worth investing (I use the word loosely) in Annabel for maximum play longevity? Anything else I should know about these loathsome bits of plastic?

DH caught me rocking BA to sleep the other evening DD2 was in bed and is almost 2. I was feeling a bit broody and BA was lying on the sofa beside me. At least I hadn't switched her on.

I'm not a dolly person but I quite like Annabel. We have bought a newer version for DD2 for her birthday, DD1 is going to be very jealous even tho' she's 8. She and about 4 of her friends all play with them a lot, they all have the prams and take their babies for walks to each others houses.

Dd1 has BA, dd2 has first BA, both ghasty, but great or cuddling in bed. My FBA has a dummy- it is almost 3 yrs old, have they stopped doing them?

I like stella, my lovely monster, but no quite foul enough for dd

Right, am confused now. BA = relatively less hiddeous (according to some) but has scary head swiveling stuff.
Any more opinions?
