I am short on inspiration but have bought loads for her big sister and now feeling a bit bad we've only got the little one one present. Ideas please!

At that age I got my son a vtech baby walker because the play thing comes off so he could play sitting down and then he used it when walking he is almost 3 now and I have only just got rid of it - he loved it.
here
it also comes in pink now.

timmette that's the one present we have got her! Looks fab, I think she will love it.

He also got a dancing iggle piggle then which he really liked and still has although no longer watching it on tv.
Not sure she needs any other big presents - shape sorters and those kind of things went down well, bath squirters, duplo [we built it and he knocked it dowm].

We got this for dd's first Christmas. Is enjoying a renaissance for ds (dd, now 2.6 enjoys rolling it for ds 5mths!).

Oh, and books. Lots of books.

We have bought ds a playnest (though he has had it early) and more books. Also a couple of bath toys.

Oh yes, if she hasn't got any stacking cups, these are an essential (Ikea do some for about 90p)

Bit younger than yours - DD nearly 7mo - but we've got her a Steiff bear. My reasoning was that I pick up age-appropriate toys for her as we go along anyway, and I wanted to be able to tell her when she's older, "that's the bear you got for your first Christmas". I'm hoping she'll enjoy it throughout her childhood and beyond (like I did my teddy bear), and it'll be an heirloom toy for her.

He also loved little people that he could happily stick in his mouth without me panicking and still likes them now he has a zoo and a farm from them.
I like this

They are indistructible sp?

I love that idea Penthesileia. It would be something that's just hers too as her big sister (she's 3) tends to commandeer the toys.
