Every day he comes home and shows me the Christmas cards he got from kids in his class. All boys.

So today at swimming I'm folding over his coat and feel something hard in his pockets and pull out two crumpled up cards from GIRLS!

Two of the girls hve written 'I love you' on my ds's cards!!

He is totally unphased by this.

I think ds2 would have dropped dead if they said I love you on his elsie!!

Oh gosh, do they go all emabrrassed about girls by 6? My DS1 is only 4.9yrs, he has already moved onto "girls can't be Powerrangers" since starting school this year, but isn't embarrassed yet.

oh, my ds is v. cuute and trailed by a hoard of girls trying to kiss him at school. he is 5.5. Luckily he is really obnoxious at the mo so i'm sure he will find a way to alienate them sooner or later. His first week at his new school he had a loveletter from his best girl with hearts and snakes(?!) drawn all over it
