TODAY was last day for standard parcels

No f*cker told me did they??? It is now going to cost a small fortune to get my sister's stuff sent (not finished making, let alone wrapping). I may leave one of her presents for her birthday and save time.

I just want to curl up and hide from it all, but again that won't help.

Can't even do loads tonight as promised a mate I would do her circuit class.

AND I left Flameboy sleeping on the sofa and curled up in bed with a book (obv before realising the posting thing) - he woke and rather than yelling "MUUUUUUUUUUUM" like normal - he stayed quiet, got a calendar and ate the entire bloody thing watching some film on Channel5.

Argh.

This won't work if you have already bought other stuff, but I have just signed up for the free 1-month trial of Amazon Prime which gives you next day delivery on everything. So all remaining Christmas gifts for people I'm not going to see in person will be bought on Amazon and saves me wrapping it or paying for postage.
Now all I have to do is finish writing the cards that need posting before Thursday (last day for 2nd class). I'm not mad on the panto dames either, but I do like to use Christmas stamps for Christmas stuff so am getting them anyway.

I just asked for 2nd class stamps, thinking that I could use the extra after Christmas. I'll have to send lots of cards and things to people to get them used up before it starts to be embarrassing (April, May?). The old lady in front of me at the post office asked for religious stamps, which I thought was quite nice.

Lol!!! I am now picturing stamps that say a quick hail mary before they go in the box
