Online deliveries arriving in branded packaging, argh!

Am I the only one who finds this infuriating?! Some of them are innocent enough, such as Amazon, because it could still be anything in the world. But I've received at least 3 parcels this week with the retailer's name all over them - worst of all probably being Play, who announced on the front what the parcel contained AND exactly how much it cost! So now my helpful household postage interceptors (aka kids) knows where half her pressies have come from!

While I'm here, does anyone know if Clinique send out in plain packaging from their website? I ordered some stuff back in the summer and I know it came in a big box but I can't remember what was written on it.

I try and be stealthy by shopping online and this happens!

I think legally play.com have to because it comes from Jersey and it's to do with customs and excise- otherwise they could legally stop your item and open it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a customs thing too. But the Amazon Eu Sarl (or whatever they're called, Amazon Jersey basically) delivery I had was in a plain jiffy bag.

Vexing.

can you pick an alternate delivery address? we stored a few christmas presents for neighbours a couple of years ago to save them having to properly hide them?

This could indeed have grave consequences.

I mean, imagine if your package had ARGOS emblazoned upon it.
