A peg bag for Christmas? A very nice, handmade, Bunting Cupcake stylee peg bag.

I'd love it (with or without snazzy pegs).

BroccoliSpears · 04/12/2008 15:06

I'd LOVE one!

Am at all you ungrateful peg bag nay-sayers.

buttercreamfrosting · 04/12/2008 15:17

I'd be thrilled because it could have been worse: someone told me today that their MIL gave them PEGS last year. No pegs in nice bunting type bag, in fact no bag at all. Just pegs....

psychohohohoho · 04/12/2008 15:19

I like the word snazzy too, obviously.

I guess for me saying that I would be gutted is because I did once get one, but then, it was from my mother (who I have ishoos with), and smelt of stale smoke as she is a very heavy smoker, so of course I am using my bad experience against you which is TOTALLY unfair, so sorry.

I still stand by the snazzy pegs tho

ThomcatIsForLifeNotJustForXmas · 04/12/2008 15:19

I'd think 'oh, how odd' then proceedd to find it incredibly useful and enjoy it come summer.

claireybaubles · 04/12/2008 15:31

I would like it, but then again I have asked my mum for pegs for Christmas!

I'd probably like it more if it came with wine or chocolate...

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 04/12/2008 17:01

Great idea re snazzy pegs. Where does one purchase such items?

I would be pleased. Would make a change from the plastic box I currently use.

The soft pegs from Lakeland are good.

flamesparrow · 04/12/2008 18:00

bird pegs

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 04/12/2008 22:46

Those are cool, FS. Thanks.

If someone gives you a gift because they want to, and it comes with love, then you love it. If not for the item, then for the thought.

If you don't you are a horrible human being who deserves to be slapped round the head with a frozen turkey!

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 08/12/2008 11:53

But, Hecate, that would hurt.

OhLITTLEFISHofBethlehem · 08/12/2008 11:55

My mum made me one as a present when I bought my first house. She filled it with soft pegs from Lakeland. Twas a fab pressie!

SnowOfHands · 08/12/2008 11:55

I got a peg bag from my Mum. It's lovely and very useful.

Just exchanged gifts early with BIL as he's off travelling. He bought me a pyrex dish. Useful again and it's a pretty colour.

I'm easily pleased.

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 08/12/2008 11:59

I would LOVE a pyrex dish, SOH. I must be getting old...

Hassled · 08/12/2008 12:00

I would be bitterly disappointed. I leave my pegs on the whirlygig thing.

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 08/12/2008 12:07

You slut, Hassled!

StretchmarkSantaClaws · 08/12/2008 12:08

I HATE peg bags, don't know why!! I always leave the pegs on the line, which my mum and DH hates!! Its a great source of annoyance to them. So, last year, mum bought DH a peg bag(as a joke!) I hid it!!!

StretchmarkSantaClaws · 08/12/2008 12:09

Damn, forgot the '>>'

hecAteAMillionMincePies · 08/12/2008 12:24

LadyG - not as much as option 2, which involves rubber gloves and a not inconsiderable amount of vaseline...

SpaceTrain · 08/12/2008 13:37

But why would anyone take their pegs off the line? That is just wasted effort.
