It has suddenly occured to me, that maybe I need to buy a gift of some sort for DD's carers at Nursery.

What's the protocol?

She has one named person although that person doesnt seem to do much in particluar- this isnt a complaint BTW. DD does seem to have a couple of particular favourites, ie. people she will go to most happily. There are 3 staff who are based in her room however the 2 rooms with the yojngest children in ( of which she is one) frequently spend time together so she has very regular interaction with many people - 8-10

What's best - one combined, possibly unimaginative, gift like chocs/biscuits or somethign else?

I'd not even thought about it for mine but i think they all probably work together to look after your dd and chocs are always great to have around - though possibly very popular - if i could work out a way to do it a donation towards their christmas do - which i'm sure is paid for personally at ours - would probably be appreciated too..

In a similar situation last year, I bought some "nice" hand cream as a joint gift for all the staff to use. I figured that they probably did a lot of handwashing and might like soem nice cream. It was very well received.

Which leaves me the problem this year of how to follow it. Might have been better to stick to chocs .

dh has suggested that given the difficult job they do they might like some of this

Crikey, your husband can tell mine some ideas what to get me this year then please!!

I think I'll be going down the box of chocs route with this year crunch.
