I'm not am I? This is the puppy who ahd to get a pair of tights pulled from his a**e the other week, after eating tehm and swalloing whole. I have a 6ft tree, and usually put the presnets from relatives under it - no way will I can do that until Christmas Eve,

put it in a playpen ...

Put it in a playpen? Or behind a fireguard/BabyDan if you have one. Or keep him out of the room with a stairgate.

That's no good he will just eat his way out

Afraid you'll have to get a smaller one and put it on a table out of the way.

They're not puppies for long, hopefully you can go baack to the big tree next year or the year after.

You can buy upside down Christmas trees in John Lewis. Maybe you could suspend it from the ceiling??? Don't quite know how you can suspend the prezzies from the ceiling though.

He is a Border Collie. He eats everything, not just chews, but actually eats things. All his toys are in bits and he poos bits of red rubber, or tennis ball. He poos socks, usually bits of them. He is currently at me feet shredding a kitchen roll. Beside him are 4 toys, a bone and a rawhide shoe. All ignored

mine is 16 weeks and im using a table this year although since i moved into this house i havent had peace with xmas trees.
year 1: real tree, shed pines everywhere.
year 2: ds aged 17 months, wild horses wouldnt keep him back
year 3: 6 month old kitten, erecting the tree every evening after work.
this year: puppy who eats everything.
and next year i'll have a 7 month old baby (hopefully not crawling by xmas)

Our living room is small, 8/9 ft wide and about 12/14 ft long. So not really nay room for a playpen or a table

If you have room for a 6ft tree you must have room for a small table with a 4ft tree on it {puzzled emoticon}

It's hard to describe, the room, we need to take the stereo thing out and the small side table, and it takes up a lot of room(the tree that is). I don't want to ahve to buy a table - which would need to be high as he is a big puppy with a long reach - he got the knife block from the top of the kitchen work surface. he may be 10 months old but he is big!
