Ds is 3yo and the concentration span of a fish. Nothing too expensive.
Thank you.

When my DC were 2 and 3 I bought some cheap plant pots - clay/terracotta ones. Then we decorated them with their hand and footprints in paint, filled them with soil and planted some daff/tulip bulbs. Then varnished them. Grandparents still have them 4 years later!
Or buy some of those vvvv cheap plain canvases and let him loose with paint!

Bake cookies then cut out using Xmas shape cutters - he can stir and press down the shapes and decorate after.

Get a piece of wood or something sturdy. Cover in tin foil and blue tack a church candle in themiddle. let him glue on foliage, tinsel, baubles etc round the base as a lovely tasteful tabel centrepice/decoration for them. Be careful if you light candle tho!

Get cheap pack of beads from £ shop and he can make necklces for female rellies.

Get him to draw pictures on some square card/paper about 5 - cm. Thenlaminate it and you have coasters.

HTH!

I got kits from woolies for paint your own mugs. They're reduced and 3 for 2 so work out at £2 for 3 lots. Ds got bought the piggy bank kit for birthday (3) and loved doing it.

my ds's made fab bookmarks last year which we laminated - black card outer that they put tissue paper on for their 'church window'. We also made christmas shaped biscuits which they put silver balls on to decorate (nearly made the teeth fall out!!) - then put them into a kilner jar or similar - easy!!
Homemade picture frames from cardboard, painted and decorated are really cheap and cheerful and great for grandparents with a photo of their loved ones.
