I like really nice french soaps. If thats not something your friend would like then you can just send her a card and me the soap instead

Will gladly send you soap! Don't think she would like it too much though. I thought I would order something online but maybe I should buy something in France and just post it from here.

this is what I am buying for people this year with a bottle of Lidl Prosecco which is £3.99.

Put the flowers in champagne and they sort of come alive............

Its tricky. I'll have a think. Majeikas sounds amazing though if a little tricky to post.

If your friend is in the UK and you're in France, the easiest thing is definitely to buy something from an English shop online and have it delivered straight to her.

I just had my birthday and got some lovely relatively inexpensive gifts. Some gorgeous slippers from Debenhams. A lovely warm shawl thing from Accessorize. Some plants (although not sure if you can do those online).

Or what about a book about her favourite hobby/autobiography of her favourite actor or whatever from Amazon?

Also, this is a fabulous candle shop: www.truegrace.co.uk/Default.aspx/unsec.1 Although delivery is slow so give it at least a week.

try hotel chocolat website - lurvely and you can get good quality chocs delivered in a box that fits thru letterbox for about £20.00 inc delivery.
