Havn't got a clue what to buy the dss's for x-mas, we give them money as a main present so they can buy what they like in the sales but i like them to have a couple small things to open (£5-£10 each).

Both boys spend alot of time on the x-box and wii, dss1 likes football, dss2 likes riding his bike, apart from that they don't realy have hobbies etc.

Hi

I have Ds aged 13 - nearly 14 and have struggled this year for littley bits but yesterday managed to track down a few.

DS will get Nintendo Ds - broke the last one - and game. (Main pressie)

Ice cream ball from firebox - chuck ingredients in one end and ice cream and rock salt in the other and kick around for 20 mins - voila - ice cream!!

Weights - (From his list not mine!! - god knows why but think he is after impressing someone with his muscles)

Boss Aftershave (Again his list not mine!!)

DVD, Book, 20Q, DS Skins (To protect DS), I am Stig top, Strength ball - from argos - think it is science museum, Smellies from boots, Astronaut ice cream, book (ALL of these are for stocking)

Football goal set from Argos

I pod speakers

Some of these are from IL's too!!

Same age, same problem. main present is a HD tv for gaming, which leaves almost no budget for anything else, which is good as I have no idea what to get anyway. he needs some new jeans, probably a book, some deoderant, choccies, err... Gone are the days when I could buy him stacks and stacks of toys that he'd love, and not go over £100. He only wants stuff that is megabucks. Little dd will have one fifth as much spent on her as he will, but is fortunately too small to know or care.

Have they got a subscription to x-box live so they can play on-line?

The Hawkins Bazaar website is great for daft stocking filler type presents that teenage boys would love

They play x-box online (too much)

I like the sound of the ice cream ball (will take a look tonite).

Thanks for the great ideas.

Mine 14 year old has just had a birthday & wanted train tickets for him, & 8 mates to go to london ( from surrey) - which takes up no space in a crouded bedroom & will be remembered as long as a more solid present.
WE did the same for my daughter to see a ballet at the same age.
