Christmas Songs and Music

Is there already a thread on this? I'd like a child-friendly compilation of Christmas songs which are easy on adult ears (possibly a contradiction in terms). DVD or CD is fine. Any suggestions? [I'm so smug and organised I'm ahead of the smiley Christmas hat emoticon, emoticon].

It's not child-specific but this is fab!

Raffi is very easy on the ear.

Have just 'I-tuned' a bit of the Phil Spector album and could practically smell my Nan's Christmas Dinner - an odd sensation. Definately very reminiscent of my childhood!

OSOTC - Raffi has been sitting on my Amazon wish-list for about a year - had completely forgotten. Good to hear a recommendation. Can you recommend a beginners CD? (not necessarily the Christmas one). DC are 2 and 4 yo. Tx.

my family love the 'singing kettle' christmas cd. a scottish childrens entertainment group which has really catchy songs - mostly their own original songs. warning, you will find yourself listening to this in the car even when the children are not there!

dont buy the motown version of christmas songs..its too bonkers for words!

We've got the Christmas album and 'singable songs for the very young' which we have had since DS was 1. DCs are 5 and 3 now and both still enjoy listening to it.
